It seemed that everything was put off until the last minute, to the point where we almost didn't close on time. It was very stressful and seemed as if it could have been easily avoided if communication had been better or if Stephen had been more knowledgeable about how long things took and when they needed to be done.

Overall my experience has left a sour taste and most likely a mediocre review/recommendation about this deal. Your firm made assumptions; poorly communicated and was demanding to get said documents a.s.a.p. or the deal was falling or massively delayed(still was super slow).

I feel that if I would have had a processor in my county knowing the laws upfront would have been better. The actual numbers for my loan changed every single time I received new documents. Those numbers increased with every document. All of my required documents were on hand and should have been more accurate. There were a few things that I was incorrectly informed about. There were questions that couldn’t be answered timely until the senior processor was involved.

Matt is lovely to speak with, and I have full confidence in his abilities and his genuine interest in doing what is best for me as a client. He is knowledgeable, and very friendly. My issue is with his lack of communication during the closing process. I found that it was hard to get a hold of him, and I felt a bit stuck in the middle between him and the escrow company. I would recommend him to folks who are very used to this process, but for me, I wanted a bit more of a roadmap with checkins.

The process took too long, the terms seemed to change every time I received an update, and the final paperwork was incorrect twice. Compared to my previous refinance this was painful, and if it wasn't for the significant rate change I would have canceled the refi months ago.
