Wanting a picture of me and My friend Mrs Bowers was just a little to much. And I was wondering if it was the Mtg co it USDA who wanted so very much for a loan it seemed excessive to me.

Advise the customer in the beginning who is "who" within the organization. Who does what, who is the best person to contact with questions. Provide a list of "next steps" with a timeline. Don't assume that people know what real estate terms mean. i.e., "escrow". To me that meant funds would be held in escrow, but used as associated with our loan, it meant funds would be released at closing for a roof and the attorney "would hold" the checks. Turns out that didn't happen either. CONFUSING

Wonida is overall a pleasure to work with but she can talk really fast about technical information that I not always familiar with so it can be hard to keep up. I appreciated the follow up phone calls to ensure I had received everything I needed to start the process. I would have liked to hear from someone sooner prior to a few days to closing. Warm hand offs between the loan officer and attorneys would be helpful. There were a lot of emails from different people asking for confidential info

It was a total mess. Communication used to be if I call you returned the call within 24 hrs. that doesn't happen. I am glad it is done everyone paid everyone can be happy

There were some communication issues with our closing and fees that were added after communicating we did not want optional title insurance. The accuracy of closing documents should be a shared responsibility between the loan originator and borrower. In this instance, it felt like everything was left up to us to figure out and decipher. Unfortunately, in this case, our inexperience costs us hundreds of dollars.
