Our loan took much longer then we were told it would. We were told we would be able to move into our house on a Monday and didn’t get to close for a while extra week. This made it so we had to stay in a hotel and waste extra money on a hotel and extra money on the truck we rented to move us from Georgia to Texas. Candice did not respond to my emails or phone calls, she would only answer when my husband called or messaged her. We got screwed and lied to.

Liar. Had me sign and ghosted me for months. Then lied about items needed. Claimed I needed to change the loan type claiming it would only increase my loan by 20 a month and nothing else. I agree then he upped the fees. I get new doc. Question it and he upps the fees while lowering the credit issued plus demanding proof of assets.I send proof and he ignores it. He LIES every step and only cares of his $$. Will tell you anything to sign. 4 months later still changing terms...RUN AWAY.

I would like to think I wasn’t one of those needy customers, at times I would ask for updates and once if we were eligible for any first time home owner grants. I never heard anything about the grants after being told they would look into it. After asking for updates, I was met with no response or I’ll look into it. All I wanted is communication and I didn’t get it. I answer all of their questions and requests quickly and on a more than timely manner. Honestly I would recommend them to anyone

We worked with jill for almost a month on getting financial aid for a home. This whole time she set everything up for us from inspections to surveys and engineering reports. And at no time did she care to mention she couldnt finance a single wide mobile home. It wasnt untill a week to closing did she care to mention it. It has completely ruined our chances of buying the home we wanted. I would highly recommend using a different lender.

Communication was fine up until I signed my first disclosure, then it was radio silent. Zero communication until I reached out a couple days before closing at which point I was told he was out of the office on leave. I was left dealing with his manager who was extremely unhelpful and could care less. Worst experience ever. I will never do business with New American Funding again.

Everything went wrong with this file. No supervision, no communication, lots of headaches that we had to tap in several other people just to get answers. She should not be a loan officer and needs to be retrained as something else
