My husband has a longer list of complaints but I have 2 important ones: 1/ my employer was brought into a late afternoon firedrill for no reason and 2/ we had to leave the closing table and come back after hours with our 3 young children. Both incidents were brought about because David's team did not appropriately gather information, escalate challenges or troubleshoot the way any reputable lender team would. The service was laughable at times, but these moments were not at all humorous. They were so wildly unprofessional, and I am embarrassed to have endured it. Never again.

Matthew lacked in communication. Matthew had little patience with us. Very unprofessional. He constantly lied to us regarding closing. Had to involve supervisor to see results. He was the worst. Would NEVER refer

After reading all the good reviews and seeing good rates on Credit Karma I decided to give this lender a shot. So I called on Wed 12/1 and was transferred to Oscar's voicemail so I left him a voice message. Didn't hear back, so I called again the next day (Thursday) and talked a representative which said that she is going to email Oscar and let him know. Still no call back. On Friday I got automated text message then connected with Richard which told me that Oscar is my loan officer and that he will reach out shortly. When did Oscar call me? He called me on Sunday morning (after 4 days) and since I was driving I asked for an appointment so I can go through the details and write down numbers, he said he will call me tomorrow (on Monday) at 1 pm. Here we go it is Monday 1:30 pm and no call from Oscar. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a lender, other lenders call you in couple hours, send text message, and email, and setup appointments appropriately with a calendar invite. I am really shocked how this branch have all these good reviews. The good news is I am done with New American Fund, they just lost couple business opportunities with me and I will never recommend them in the future to anyone.

Over promises and under delivers. Poor communication within the company, cancelled their services and happily now closing on my home with a new lender. Felt I caught them being deceitful multiple Times, ignores the customer and agent. Just not a good practice of doing business

Worst company ever!!!! I felt like it was a scam. 4 months to close a file. They have no clue about title and escrow. Be aware it took an additional month to fund. No communication!!! Did the old car salesman trick. Sent me to another loan officer to deal with delays. Delayed for months with no reasons.

Matthew was extremely evasive when we needed answers. He had short patience with us during the process. Matthew lacks in communication and people skills. He was very professional in the beginning. We closed but Matthew made this process extremely stressful. Based on our experience with Matthew and Sara, we definitely would not recommend!

zeros if possible. My experience was the worst experience that I have ever had with any business anywhere at anytime. My agent Adrian. Asked for documents. I sent them. 2days later he asked for more documents. I sent them. He asked again for more. I FINALLY SAID "SEND ME A LIST OF WHAT YOU WANT!" "I KEEP SENDING PAPERWORK AND YOU KEEP ASKING FOR MORE!" I was at a high interest rate and was quoted a great rate. Weeks went by didn't hear any thing. I called, emailed. I received a call 3wks later. I was nervous about continuing. I didn't want to start the process over. This began in April of 2021. FAST FORWARD 1YR. YES 1YR. heading to finish. My hopes are rising. I was then asked for documents from 17yrs ago. Can you believe it? He asked me to call my bank. I told him to call he is the one getting paid, he had all of my information. No response from him for 3wks. I would like to interject that I had spoken to his supervisor 3 times over the year. I called the supervisor again. Come to find out that Adrian was no longer with the company and I would have to start the mortgage process allll over again. Screwww youuu. Re-fied with another company 3wks start to finish. Interest rates had gone up 2% I am pissed.
