Worst home insurance company ever!!! I went with NAF because they offered a $10,000 incentive with my new home that I wasn’t able to get with any other lender. I worked with Pam Rios who was sweet as pie, until she got my business then she became a piece of work. When I got my closing date I immediately called her to lock my rate since interest rates weren’t as low as they are now. She ignored my requests costing me thousands of dollars since I ended up with a higher interest rate. I spoke with Toby (her manager) to see if there is a way they would be able to pay down my interest rate since Pam failed to act in a timely manner. Well what a waste of time that was. Toby was on the defense immediately, cutting me off when I spoke and and wasn’t interested in anything I had to say. I had to contact the CEO for them to take action and actually do something. Because NAF is such a large corporation, they didn’t care about my little loan or the unprofessionalism their employees exhibit. After a year I switched to another lender and couldn’t be happier. I highly suggest looking elsewhere when seeking a lender for your home loans.

I WILL NEVER USE NEW AMERICAN FUNDING OR EVER REFER THEM. MY HUSBAND AND I WAS REFERRED TO BECKY BROWN, MORTGAGE BROKER,NMLS#211483. IT WAS THE MOST DISREPECTFUL EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD IN OUR LIFE!!!! ON OCTOBER 14, 2020, WE WERE TOLD SHE WOULD CALL US AT 630PM MST. WE WAITING FOR ONE HOUR WITHOUT A RETURN CALL OR A TEXT. MY HUSBAND TEXTED HER AT 730PM MST, HER RESPONSE WAS "SHE WENT TO DINNER AND NOW IT'S HER TIME"!!!!! SO OUR REALTOR ASKED US TO GIVE HER ANOTHER CHANCE. SO........ON OCTOBER 16,2020, ONCE AGAIN SHE WAS TO CALL US THAT EVENING, OF COURSE, SHE DID NOT. HER RESPONSE VIA TEXT WAS "OH I FORGOT"!!!!!REALLY ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I AM A CHRISTIAN WOMAN AND I DO NOT WRITE BAD REVIEWS, HOWEVER, I COULD NOT!!!! WE HAVE BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF TOTAL DISREPECT FOR US, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING, WITH A VERY ARROGNANT ATTITUDE. IT'S TOO BAD THIS WORLD HAS PEOPLE WITH THIS ATTITUDE "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME"!!! SHE TREATED US LIKE OUTSIDERS. IT'S TOO BAD THIS COMPANY EMPLOYS PEOPLE LIKE HER. I was given false information throughout the loan process. Then at the end with closing, it all came out that I had not been given correct information. This caused huge problems with closing. The buyers of the house I was selling were the only thing that bailed me out of a terrible situation. Pete did not fix his mistakes, the buyers and my real estate agents made up for his errors.

Refused to answer questions. Pushy and aggressive to have me sign everything without question. Unresponsive to questions and concerns. Cannot hold a cohesive timeline. Left everything to the last minute and then insisted it was my fault when deadlines came close. Failed to schedule the assessment and lied about it AFTER insisting I pay $550 upfront for it despite my resistance. Refused in person meetings and phone call meetings. Had to use realtor as mediator and he began ignoring them as well.

Hannah never responded to my emails. I’d send a question and wouldn’t hear back for weeks. There was no communication that I’d be passed on to someone else, but then also be getting updates from Hannah sporadically. I feel like I didn’t even really “work” with her. I’d have to call her to find out what was going on- but then I’d hear children yelling in the background (which is totally fine, I get it!) but then I’d get rushed off the phone. I’m not sure why she didn’t respond to emails if it was easier for her. ??????? I was also super confused because all of a sudden I was working with the next lady but Hannah was cc’d on all emails but I didn’t think she was still working with me. She didn’t explain that through the process I’d be working with the next lady. Hannah is a great person though and very nice, just felt like she could communicate better.

Brady constantly made mistakes and told me things he would later change because they were wrong. He talked for an hour almost every time he called when the information could be expressed in 5 mins. I asked him when I had to start making payments; He told me September just to find out at closing that I'd have to start in August. He even got off the recorded line to blame it on his boss.

Worst company ever!!!! I felt like it was a scam. 4 months to close a file. They have no clue about title and escrow. Be aware it took an additional month to fund. No communication!!! Did the old car salesman trick. Sent me to another loan officer to deal with delays. Delayed for months with no reasons.

I am very disappointed about information we received regarding our closing and disbursing of funds to our lenders. We were told they would pay the lenders, instead we received check to mail to our lenders a day or so after closing. When we spoke to the manager he said their obligation was to pay off Rocket mortgage; we had to send checks to the lenders. Although, we paid all lenders for the month of June, as requested, the checks we mailed out have not posted to pay off creditors. The supervisor tried to to tell me that we were not being charged additional interest, but we are. Then he told me that it is not their fault we were charged extra interest. He told me that we received a wire check that we could have used to pay . I told him we had to pay another bill with that money. He told me he was not responsible for other bills. What he didn’t know.. during this process , my husband was diagnosed with stage IiiiB lung cancer.. that money was used to get him to MD Anderson in Houston Texas. I also received a missed call from the complaint section. I returned the call just to get a voicemail, where I did leave a message. I never heard from them again. Although, we expressed mailed the checks to our lenders; they have 7 to 10 business days to open and post payments.; while along along interest rates are eaten us alive. I think we should have been told that they would not wire transfer all the funds . We were also told that we should have asked. This is something I did ask. I asked were they gonna pay the n lenders, the response was yes. We are not the experts here. Please don’t do this to anyone else. Every penne we have Will go towards saving my husband’s life. I think this company does not have their customers best interest in mind.
