Communication to be kept informed. Had to resend items 2 to 3 times because it was not placed in the file. Overall William was very nice in our encounters but we did not have a good experience with the over all Communication and process.

The communication was not great last minute notification for documentation at the end of the work day 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm not good for clients. Again last minute notification for significant information such as being a month into the refinance and our credit report has been pulled at least 3 times prior before being notified that the we have to resolve a credit report dispute with all 3 credit bureaus which could have been done at the very beginning of the refinance to resolve any last minute delays. The hard inquiries that were placed on our credit report is another issue when we were told by the mortgage companies research team they would be soft inquires.

I didn't have any direct contact with Kip Weston, however Lisa Carey-Navarrete, Senior Processor, was amazing to work with as was Hass El Sayed, Sr. Loan Officer when we began the process. Overall, working with New American Funding was a wonderful experience.

Moe did pretty good up until the handoff to Jourdan. then the communication pretty much stopped. We didn't know if we were ready for closing until I reached out to ask the week of, then they "needed more documents". We got the closing costs finalized only the day before closing. Cut it to close for comfort.
