Awful. I am sure there are checklists for loan processing. They did not communicate the requirements effectively. There was very poor coordination with the appraiser and no follow up to ensure the appraisal was done in a timely manner. I found out about the required repairs three days after the appraisal recommended them. Those were three valuable days where the repairs could’ve been completed and the new reinspection schedule. The final disclosure agreement was missing my earnest money which is ironic, because they had been busy asking me for copies of the cleared check and statements from my bank. I am a veteran and was treated like a second-class citizen the entire time. There were excuses for every issue I had. I was very explicit when I told them I needed a 30 day close. I gave them to the chance to be honest and say they couldn’t make time line. I don’t know how many times I was told that some thing was an oversight. The staff at various levels acted like they were moving mountains to meet my needs. What they were doing, was the bare minimum. The delays were never from my end. Any documents they requested were sent to them within 20 minutes to 4 hours maximum. I am currently 36 hours away from closing. I have threatened multiple times to take my offer away even though my moving truck is full and my lease is up. I will be refinancing almost immediately.

Does not communicate. Application was filled out online along with a credit report and no response. No yes or no just silence. Called Tammy White's cell phone listed and no answer. Left a message and no return call.

Worst company ever to try to refinance your home it’s not even this company it’s the company they work with to get the foundation certified be careful and ask what are the requirements you need or they will charge you even though you don’t close contract. They didn’t send nobody to take pictures it was me sending them everything that they ask for. Had a hard time trying to do everything they ask for and still didn’t get the foundation approved. I apply somewhere else to get refinance and got approved in less then a week I don’t recommend this company just for the company they work with to the certification

Found out less than 24 hours from closing it couldn't happen when scheduled. Ended up costing us thousands more than anticipated. I would never work with them again!

I do not recommend New American funding since the loan officer lacked the ability to listen to my needs The loan officer must carefully listen to the client's conversation, understanding their needs, rather than focusing solely on what he intends to write down in the loan agreement.

Better communication. On the day of my closing, I received a text message with a dollar amount that was needed for closing. This is so unprofessional as I felt like I deserved a phone call with the verifications of the funds, instead of just a text message with the dollar amount . I received another text message stating that if I needed him during closing to let him know. Anytime I called Victor, I had to leave a message I could never get him directly unless I emailed him asking them to call me. I chose this company because I had worked with Victor prior to this house closing. I had a great experience with the last home I purchased, but not this time. I will not use him nor your company in the future. I’m very disappointed in the service that I received.

If our loan officer would've explained in detail what was happening and what to expect. If our loan officer would've entered correct dates for our rate lock (because that was incorrect, we had to pay for an extension). If our loan officer would've returned our calls or calls from our realtor. If our loan officer would've answered the questions we asked instead of responding with an unrelated answer.

Throughout our entire experience, Glenn never answered his phone when calling for questions. He constantly handed off everything to Lisa, who is very nice! We were very upfront with him about not wanting to have to bring any money to the closing table. We signed the CD, which stated that we would be receiving money back. He sent a new one after hours during the holiday weekend after we signed the other one without any warning. When we went to the closing table that Tuesday, the new and unsigned CD had been sent to the title company, which stated that we would need to bring $5k to the table. Outside of the fact that we were unaware of this (again, he sent the new CD after hours without any warning, so we weren’t looking for a new one to come through since we signed the other one before the holiday weekend), it was completely inappropriate to expect $5k to the table without any warning. We called Glenn as we were confused. There was no answer and no call back. After calling Lisa, she was able to reach him to tell him to call. He called back and was extremely rude and defensive from the start—calling our title agency clowns (we were at the title agency trying to figure this out, so they heard him) and said that he didn’t care that we were upset about an unknown and unsigned CD being sent over without any warning. Glenn was extremely unprofessional and uncommunicative during the entire process, but his rude and defensive behavior when we called to see if the wrong CD had been sent was really just the cherry on top.
