Everything seemed to go ok.. besides the interest rate that I couldn’t see and I got a grant for like 6 grand that was supposed to go to closing and it looks like it went in their pocket.. like I purchased the house for $137,000 and the taxes were supposed to b covered by the seller. Now it’s tax time and I get the bill. Then I go to see why and the purchase price was $142,000 and I had to put 1,000$ Ernest money and bring 600 to closing and they got the property tax money of 2,200 which was supposed to go to my principle and the 6,000$ from the grant. So we r looking at close to 10,000 they spent like 2,000 on closing pocketed the grant money and added 5,000$ to my purchase price so there’s that.. then I get a million things in the mail for a home warranty they sold me and the seller.. and the realtor kio keeps saying he will bring me this basket for buying the new home and never did.. I guarantee next time I see him he will b like omg I’ll bring that basket by Monday frfrfr.. do urself a favor and shop around.. I’m a 100% disabled vet on a fixed income and they could care less.. they just want to Pocket the grant the tax money my Ernest money it is crazy.. RUN!!!

Let me just say once you sign the paperwork you are on your own, if I could rate a 0 I would, the name should be New India Funding. Support your country “Buy American”.

As a first time home buyer, this was the biggest let down and worst experience. Had me waste $700 I can not get back on a appraisal that wasn’t suppose to be ordered if they could not get me approved. Left unread with no response a day before signing! Moving forward has been tough cause now I feel like anyone can let me down and not be honest to me. I never imagined for my first home buying to be this difficult and just the worst experience ever. (Rated zero stars but need to push on a star just to post)

Would give 0 stars if possible. If I relay nothing else, at minimum do NOT work with Phylisha Martinez (Sr . Loan Officer | NMLS # 2088726). I had to escalate my loan application with senior reps after she misquoted me terms over 5 times and almost lost me my home in the week of closing. Even now I have an open case with their SVP of customer experience and have not heard from them in over a month despite following up 3x. Not sure how this place has such a high rating via NerdWallet and other loan sites...buyer beware.

Today, the guy trying to get me to agree to the loan changed up the details and literally DOUBLED the amount of money I’d need to have a closing. I told him I needed the day to talk about it with my spouse, and I’d like to reconnect tomorrow. The reply I received is pasted below in quotes. Such a flippant attitude towards me and my money is really disconcerting. I clearly won’t be financing with them... “I set these up under the assumption that you had already decided that you have cash or equity available to you to pay the [debt]. Surprised that now that the time has been spent you are hazy on that. With all due respect, I can't sink anymore time into these files if you are committed to refinance the [city] property with us. Please check credit karma for your updated pricing on any given day. I will leave the file set up and ready for you.”

Zane was not serious about his work. They pull your credit. Get every single details and never talk back, never answer calls and reply text sometime with a lot of excuses for not replying you. Stay away from them.

I've purchased 5 homes in my lifetime prior to my latest home. New American Funding and lender Stacy Holland in Navarre, Florida made this my worst home buying experience ever. I had deal with poor communications, late to need on documents, little margin provided to meet required closing date, unprofessionally rude to my wife, and failed promise on initial interest rate. I will never use this lender again and will warn all of my friends, family and associates to not use them.

If you are trying to purchase a home with New American Funding running as fast as you can. I started working with Miss Tammy White in the month of January of 2021, I've always was the one who looked at reviews of a company before approaching them. New American Funding had great reviews, so I decided to give them a shot.From start to finish it was a complete disaster. Couldn't never get any one to answer the phone, she would send me text messages telling me she's busy or something, granted I'm in the middle of trying to close a deal. Contacted Corporate they stress no concern . This went on for months until I decided to make some changes and I withdrew my loan and went with true professional people who know how to do business. Things are looking better now.
