New American Funding Reviews

So I've been dealing with NA since December of 2022. My close date has been pushed back 3 times since the 13th of this month. Push back 1 (by the loan processor Tracey and the appraiser) was for a rail that could have easily been installed after closing. Push back 2 was appraiser having to go back out (for another $150) and make sure the rail was put on. I honestly think they are in some kind of scam with the appraisal company. Push back 3 was after pulling the paperwork for the property almost 30 days ago they just now saw a leasehold on it. And of course nobody returns phone calls, my main POC Arnold knows nothing!! So my close was supposed to be Jan.13th, pushed to the 18th to the 19th now to I dont know when. Let's see if I'll get a phone call after this review!!

Hard pull, got all my information, then kinda dropped off the earth! Found this mortgage company on Creditkarma because of low rates, called and got connected with Jacob Fragos. He sounded super friendly, said he needed to check my social in order to give me a loan estimate. I let him do it (a hard pull), and then he said everything looks great, you have great credit history, now I just need a ratified contract. I said a ratified contract just for a loan estimate? He said yes. A few days later, I ratified my contract, so I put in all materials through their application system, and immediately called him to potentially lock my rate. He did not answer my call that day (Valentine’s Day, so I can understand). Next day, he called and he said he received all materials. He said he would give me a loan estimate. That was ~2-3 PM California Time. It is now next day noon, and still no loan estimate. I don’t expect one to come, and similar to everybody else’s situation, they have all my information! I am very disappointed in him, and the nonchalance he has for my application. They better not do illegal stuff with my information. This is my story, and you can be the next victim, so please find a lender whose reputation can be vouched by your friends/family/coworkers. That’s where I am taking my business to.

Started the refinance process and they were quick to ask for documents and draw up a loan estimate. Everything was going well until my loan originator went out of office according to an automated response from her email which stated that she would still be responding to her emails while out of office. After several emails and contacting new American funding in several forms I received no response to continue my refinance. They literally left me on read on their Facebook. I have since refinanced at a better rate with a different company. Now these clowns have all of my personal and financial information for no reason.

I was the first time buyer and had loan finace through Scott and had horrible time throughout the whole process.I see all the great reviews here but i did not get any of those experience at all.My loan got closed 2 weeks late even though we had started loan process long ago and had to pay seller extra delayed fees from my own pocket.Worst feeling i had to went through during process.

The assigned loan consultant was unprofessional. She showed no interest in the business and not put effort in what she was supposed to do. Since the first conversation, she asked us to provide her with a loan estimate that we got from other lenders. After several follow ups, she finally gave us a “cost sheet” with the rate way higher than what she told us over the phone. Considering my experience, I do not recommend this company to my friends and family.

Worst place to get a loan from by far terrible communication and seems like they never have there ducks in a row it's always last minute stuff on their end overall would never recommend them
