I am not sure if the issue was William or Ashley. An experience that started off incredibly ended on a very sour note. Closing timelines were expressed to New American from the day I went under contract. I had all information provided to your company within 48 hours of request every time. As a result of lender delays, the closing date was missed and there was never any communication unless initiated by me regarding the fact that there would be a delay at all. Ultimately, I was told the reason for the delay was due to an error on the appraisal doc. This error was identified on 1/10/23 and emailed to both Ashley AND William. I find missing a pre-communicated month long deadline embarrassing. Ultimately, everything worked out fine. I simply find the lack of clear communication on an upcoming deadline unacceptable. I don't run my life/business that way. A person's reputation is all they have in the world- mine being tarnished was not appreciated. Kudo's to William for owning up to the situation and being apologetic. Unfortunately, it simply doesn't change the outcome.

I do not feel the gentleman we worked with was properly informed of information regarding mortgages. I really can't find fault with him delivering incorrect information. He was very nice and kind. Having said that, the company is lacking in communication skills. I feel that his employer would benefit from accurate training for their employees, so they may be able to deliver CORRECT information. We all do jobs for someone else....the folks that are handing us a paycheck need to take responsibility for making certain their employees are properly informed. In my opinion, the responsibility falls on the management team for lack of training their employees. Mr. Cook, you did good job!

Yoshi assured me many times that the loan and escrow will close smoothly within 30 days, but the loan documents were not ready until the morning of day before escrow closing date. Yoshi made many excuses blaming other parties for the delay and that made me very sad and disappointing. Not very professional as he claimed he was.

I feel the lender needs to be more personable with their clients and realtor and explain thoroughly the process and give more explanation of any issues. Communication is very important here with all parties!
