New American Funding Reviews

Awful. I am sure there are checklists for loan processing. They did not communicate the requirements effectively. There was very poor coordination with the appraiser and no follow up to ensure the appraisal was done in a timely manner. I found out about the required repairs three days after the appraisal recommended them. Those were three valuable days where the repairs could’ve been completed and the new reinspection schedule. The final disclosure agreement was missing my earnest money which is ironic, because they had been busy asking me for copies of the cleared check and statements from my bank. I am a veteran and was treated like a second-class citizen the entire time. There were excuses for every issue I had. I was very explicit when I told them I needed a 30 day close. I gave them to the chance to be honest and say they couldn’t make time line. I don’t know how many times I was told that some thing was an oversight. The staff at various levels acted like they were moving mountains to meet my needs. What they were doing, was the bare minimum. The delays were never from my end. Any documents they requested were sent to them within 20 minutes to 4 hours maximum. I am currently 36 hours away from closing. I have threatened multiple times to take my offer away even though my moving truck is full and my lease is up. I will be refinancing almost immediately.

If you are trying to purchase a home with New American Funding running as fast as you can. I started working with Miss Tammy White in the month of January of 2021, I've always was the one who looked at reviews of a company before approaching them. New American Funding had great reviews, so I decided to give them a shot. From start to finish it was a complete disaster. Couldn't never get any one to answer the phone, she would send me text messages telling me she's busy or something, granted I'm in the middle of trying to close a deal. Contacted Corporate they stress no concern . This went on for months until I decided to make some changes and I withdrew my loan and went with true professional people who know how to do business. Things are looking better now.

Be aware of Dominic, he pre-approved a client in January and then gave her agent a pre-approval letter in March saying his customer was still pre-approved and through underwriting. Then come to find out buyer is no longer qualified because he qualified her with interest rates from January. Every good lender watches interested daily let alone after 2 months. It cost us possibly the purchase of our home we had an offer on and the sellers of that home. IF you are searching for home loans stay away from this lender. Make sure they are checking rates daily, it can make a difference on what you originally qualified for and when you actually find a home. Thanks Dominic for ruining a families dream by your carelessness.

Closing was supposedly changes without REALTOR or client consent. 2 pm closing on the Dec 17th got pushed to 5pm closing . Buyer had to stress to closing attorney this was the only day she could have closed. They kept telling us to comeback on the Dec 18th. Buyer is very unhappy with New American .

I had high expectations at the beginning of the refinance process, as the team initially seemed attentive and committed. However, as things progressed, I encountered numerous issues. Many of the figures I was given were inaccurate or exaggerated, and there was a significant lack of communication. I found myself constantly having to follow up to get updates, as there didn’t seem to be a feedback loop in place. The communication breakdown between the loan processor and senior loan officer was apparent, causing unnecessary delays and inefficiencies. It took three attempts just to complete the notary process. Despite repeated requests for the loan processor to meet with me and clarify the numbers, this never happened. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to others. This process left me with no trust in the people I worked with, and I regret choosing this organization for my refinance.

There was a severe lack of communication went to closing with a guess of what I needed to bring there I was told my rate was one thing the surprised at closing with a higher rate also a surprise at closing was the fact that we need to pay off a debt on our credit report . Should of been told that before hand and would have done it very unprofessional
