Not sure if my experience was watered down due to COVID-19, but I had horrible communication with my loan officer Laverne Davis. I feel like this place takes on too many customers at one time taking away from the quality of their work. I got my credit pulled pulled, submitted all my documents, yet it took weeks before I received a response. I even notified management and still was directed to teach out to Laverne. Waste of my time and energy.

The Dumas team is the worst. Do not work with them no communication at all. Kayla Amos very unprofessional. Not a good experience with new American! Very dissatisfied

This lender will try and force you info foreclosure! I have spent over an hour trying to pay them over $4000 and all I want is a recipte. They would not provide it. I called the Corp customer service number, the local office, the number on the statement and get the same answer. DO NOT use them.

We had the great displeasure of dealing with Ivan Carrasquero. Overall found him very unprofessional and unorganized. If you have the option, ask for another loan “consultant”.

Spoke with agent Jeanette RuizNunez, a senior loan officer, and she was literally the most passive aggressive and rude agent I have ever dealt with. Based off my experience with her, I will not be using new American funding.
