I spoke with Dylan about getting a mortgage loan estimate. He didn't follow through with any of his commitments and it has cost me an extra 0.125% on the rate with my original lender. As background, the first commitment to get me information. In the meantime, I got emails from Dylan urging me to complete the mortgage application. I called back 3 days later and he said he would get the estimate that day. He also noted that the emails were autogenerated and that he changed the settings while we were talking so that I would not get those autogenerated emails. Never heard from Dylan again but I am still getting his email reminders urging me to complete the loan application a full 2 weeks later.

Trash!! So angry and disappointed with Clear Mortgage and Guillermo. After telling us we were approved and collecting money they deny us on the last day of escrow. How do you get that far into escrow and then are told you are not approved!?! So unprofessional I can’t even believe it. Stay away.

Good at first but the lat week of the loan process was a nightmare. Massive communication issues and we ended up paying way more than we were suppose to...of course finding this out AT the closing table. I’m not saying he can’t wheel and deal...but be careful.

Do not use this mortgage lender. He was unresponsive to problems, told us 3 days before closing we had to bring an additional $20,000 to closing, made excuses when problems came up instead of addressing them and would refuse to return our relators calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I called to get some information about the different homebuyer loan programs and grants available in southern CA. This guy's ego was out of control. He basically told me he was the #1 mortgage lender in southern CA and didn't have time to answer questions over the phone unless I completed an application over the phone or made an hour long appointment to come in to his office to ask the questions that I had. He stated he was just "too busy because I'm the #1 mortgage broker" blah blah blah and "it wouldn't be worth his while unless I submitted in application". What?! Ugh! What kind of customer service is this?! I was so appalled by his egotistical attitude and terrible customer service skills. I wouldn't take my business anywhere near this guy. He was quite possibly one of the rudest people of ever had the DISpleasure of speaking to. Never. Again.

Loan was closed in 25days (initially expected in 21days) . I need to do too many follow-ups, they only move at the last hour and come back with many queries without looking them upfront. Way higher on the interest rates than in the market, and don't provide the lender credits and collect high closing fees, and also make the escrow as mandated even if you put 20% down and make that as conditional without proper heads up. Overall felt unethical and unprofessional. Very disappointed.I definitely don't recommend anyone.

I saw Google reviews and was referred by a friend to use Craig as my lender for buying my first home. I was nervous and excited to finally make this huge step. After spending two weeks waiting on a return call, I finally got a phone call from his associate. It was a day or so and Craig finally called me and I felt as though I wasn’t worth his time. After a week or so into this process he stopped answering my messages. I had student loans in deferment because I am a still a student and this must’ve been a major issue for him. However, instead of just telling me no, he ignored me. I soon contacted another lender and officially closed on a beautiful home today. I had to get my credit pulled a second time, but the process was painless unlike my experience with Craig. Do not let his good reviews fool you. Do not waste your time. Find a lender that actually cares about you and will be decent enough to return your messages. I would honestly give 0 stars if it were an option.

First I should start by telling you my loan coordinator never returned emails or phone calls. In fact when I told him I left him a VM his response was I don't check VM?? WOW so needless to say none of my questions were answered throughout the process. Next I submitted all required paper work within 48 hours it took 60 plus days for them to work on my loan at which point the rate lock expired and they actually presented me with a new higher rate even though it was there fault they didn't process the loan in a timely fashion??? At this point advised the underwriter I was cancelling the loan. And wouldn't you know that caught Nick's attention... He seem utterly dumfounded why I would cancel the loan and offered to reinstate my agreed upon rate. At which point I stated that it took this to get a response from him. I than provided him documented proof of my attempts to contact him throughout the process.. Needless to say I cancelled my loan. Honestly who's the customer here me or cardinal financial?? they are making money off your loan yet they feel they can treat you with utter disregard. Bad company...Bad Service...
