I think communication, regular email follow-ups with the customer eases the anxiety of first home buyers as in my case. There was very less communication with the mortgage lender once i locked the interest rate. Every-time I had to be proactive to make sure things are in place before any deadlines as a first time home buyer. I guess the overall customer experience in can be vastly improved in this regards.

Clear and timely communication. Be proactive instead of being reactive. We felt that Draper & Kramer team didn't value our time. We were pushed into a corner and very given no time to think through things properly. Overall bad experience.

Rate offered was good but expect better communication from lender and his/her team. No clear guidance on the steps required to refinance. Had to reach out multiple times to make sure things are moving along.

The way the whole payoff happens, I end up paying 5 days interest to both my old and new loans which could have been avoided. It was not a good overall experience, no customer focus.

John is bright and excellent at what he does. I felt like the communication with his support staff could be better. Numerous, repetitive emails and felt like I had to chase getting my loan closed/ extended several times and had to repeatedly supply the same documentation. Lost in the mail, expired, etc,etc.
