I would have liked communication from the lending team about when we were clear to close. I received no updates despite several messages and texts. I realize everyone is busy.

In the beginning there was great contact and explanation. As the experience went on there was a lack of contact that lead to confusion and missed dates. I wish the level of service remained the same throughout. Maybe cross country is taking on too much business? A lot of no returned calls and texts in the 2nd half

Promises made, promises not kept. We were told at the very beginning of the process, that a mobile notary/attorny will come to wherever we were. The first closing was made late Wednesday night to close the next day at 7pm. I received notification about mid-day that closing couldn't do it on that specific Thursday, but could do it Friday, September 25 at 4pm. Approximately 3:00 pm I was title wasn't able to do the closing because the attorney covering our area was on vacation. I should not be given a date and time if it's not an option. In order to close I had to drive 1.5 hours to go to Georgia on 9/26 . Additionally, I told Jason I wanted the loan closed and funded by the end of September to which he said it shouldn't have been a problem especially since I provided everything on the first submission with the exception of HOI due to not knowing the closing date. New Amerian should have more than one provider or company to ensure they can leep the promises their sales staff make. To make matters worse, the title company nor NAF did not make it right for the lies and inconvenience of for me having to make sure things were getting processed and closed. This is the worst experience on a closing I've had.

The overall process was not very efficient. We received numerous emails with different requests; whereas, it would have been much preferred to have these grouped into fewer emails or maintained on a website. Emailing most of the documents back and forth was also a pain, and a portal would have been more efficient and safe.
