Your team stepped in when a previous lender could not make it work for my client. And so for that, I'm incredibly grateful. You made this deal happen! My critical feedback is more around the communication. I requested on several occasions to be included in the correspondence between your team and my client, but that never happened. And as a result, I never felt like we were working as a team to help the buyer-client. There were a lot of redundancies that could have been avoided.

We were provided a rate sheet with a .5% loan origin fee. The contract provided had it at .75%, a difference of hundreds of dollars. I had to question why as we were never contacted regarding the increase—only getting affirmation and vague details after calling. Due to time considerations we continued the process. However, we will do business elsewhere next time.

I personally did not communicate with Bonnie, my husband did and was given some incorrect info from what he said. We also paid for an appraisal of our property, which was quite obviously done incorrectly. We are requesting an accurate appraisal of our home as soon as you can get this lined up. There were blatant flaws in the appraisal of our home.

In the beginning, communication was great and very engaging. I was pushed to quickly pay for the appraisal, and quickly get in documents, to close the loan. I did so, then things took a long time and the roles reversed to where I was emailing and calling and asking for updates. I expressed that I felt as though there was a lag in communication and the response was that they felt as though they've been answering my questions. My questions were answered. However, I felt as though the communication should have continued to be proactive instead of reactive to me reaching out asking what the status was and what was going on. The loan also took longer than 30 days to close. I was told that they got an influx of applicants and that caused the delay. That is great for business, but it does not feel good as a customer making such a large transaction to be placed on the back burner. I would advise team members to schedule regular updates and if a loan closing is going to be prolonged, let the customer know up front. Also, ensure there is clear communication with the scheduled appraisal team. I was told to hurry up and pay and schedule within a week, only to have to wait for the appraisal team to respond and have availability that conflicted with the verbal deadline O was given. I want to feel like I matter throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, once the money was paid out on my end and it was time for closing, I felt as though I was an annoyance to New American Funding, not a valued customer.

Constant changing requests of documents which had been sent previously. Much if this was due to loan coordinator, Claudia. Emails sent to wrong people, not correctly reading documents. Final CD was received just minutes before scheduled closing time. Not the most competent and efficient transaction.

In the early stages of loan shopping, I asked for loan estimates with specific parameters such as term length, zero discount points applied, a range of down payment options, and comparisons of VA vs. conventional. On at least one occasion, Jordan quoted loan rates that did not match my request (for example, applying points to make the interest rate appear more favorable, but stating that there were zero points applied). From my perspective, this appears to be bait-and-switch marketing which some lendees may not detect. Additionally, my loan processor took multiple days to review my response to her initial request for information and only did so when I prompted her with a second email and a phone call. She seemed unfamiliar with verifying income for active duty military service, and requests for me to prove my emplpoyment via MyBiz+ delayed the processing time. Her subsequent requests for information were generally unclear and I had to call several times to ask what information she needed. I don't believe I received priority service from the loan officer or processor, and although the loan I received was ultimately acceptable, I struggle to find a reason to recommend NAF.

Honestly, there was just a serious.lack of communication. The job got done and as far as I can tell was done very well. However; I asked questions I never got answers to and things were scheduled for me without a head's up. For example: Found out on a Thursday or Friday that an appraisal was needed on the following Monday along with $595 with absolutely no forewarning of that. I would get links through e-mails to sign documents and the links would not always work, but when I brought that up I would just get another e-mail with the same link. At no point in the process did I know what was coming next. It made me very nervous throughout the process. All was fine and I feel like Ralph really helped me get a great deal and a great setup. Better than I ever hoped for honestly, but I was not aware of that until the very end.

The buyer had a ton of conditions, that did not help Bryce at all. Plus the buyer took forever to take action since he works 3rd shift.
