Terrible customer service. Was helpful throughout the process, but once I decided to go with a different bank with a lower rate, he wouldn't leave me alone, and on top of that, tried to belittle me for taking a better deal. You're better off working with someone who has your best interest in mind, and tries to preserve the relationship no matter the outcome. I quote him: "Karma".

This company is completely disorganized. They lied to me about VA eligibility, charged me for an appraisal I wasn’t approved for setup a closing date with a title company and a week and a half before closing they finally decided to actually apply for the eligibility certificate and when it was denied they tried to blame the VA for the mistake. I asked them to send me the original certificate they had claimed they received… I never got it. They also never sent me the actual appraisal receipt or documents after I asked them multiple times to send it. They passed me around constantly to different members of the company to the point I didn’t know who to communicate with any longer. I’d have one person telling me one thing and a second person emailing me loan documents to sign that had nothing to do with the numbers or plan discussed with the first person. Eventually it didn’t matter who I was talking to because when I’d call or text them questions a week before closing they’d send me to voicemail or leave me on read. Multiple people told me multiple times I needed to sell my vehicle in order to make the deal work. When I was at the dealership ready to sell I called 2 of them numerous times, they sent me to voicemail. After I had sold my vehicle they responded to me telling me not to. I was told for weeks I really needed to sell it to clear my DTI ratio and after it was sold I was told “even if you eliminated your car loan you won’t be eligible”. This is my second time working with this company and it’s become evident to me in both processes that they’ll cut as many corners as they possibly can until the closing date approaches and then they’ll tell you all these hoops you need to jump through in order to close the deal. They’ve collected 575 dollars from me. Never returning the appraisal I’ve paid for. They’ve wasted 3 months of our time and completely ignored my requests for my appraisal or a refund for it and my certificate they apparently received.. This company is shady and if you value your time I’d find another lender. It’ll be quicker to do that than it will be to close with these people. They took 3 months pretending like I was in such a precarious situation. I found a lender immediately after the car situation and filled them in and I’m set to close in a week and a half after working with them for 4 days now.. I’ve talked to numerous other realtors and lenders and all of them said they had heard of NAF and none of them had anything good to say about them.

Mitch from MN seemed like he was straight to the point which was fine at first but once he started asking questions about finances, he would not let me finish a sentence. He kept talking over me and came off very rude. I told him to please let me finish what i was saying and he kept talking over me so I ended up hanging up on him.

This company is unorganized and unprofessional. I had a terrible experience when I got my original loan and a longer similar experience on my refinance. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

As an agent, if communication is your thing, go somewhere else. I pride myself on communication between myself and lenders so we can give our clients the best experience possible and unfortunately, the communication and ability to get us to the finish line in a timely fashion just didn't happen.

Poor communication, they never return calls or emails. Been trying to do an equity loan for mo ths now and the first loan guy left and no one ever told us or took up our file. Then the second guy had a kid and was gone for weeks and no one said anything. I would DEFINITELY avoid this company. Many emails have supposedly been sent to the CEO about our issues but I'm thinking that was false. Limited help and seems like no one knows what's going on.

Bought a home in Dec 2023, Rates where dropping, I compared the rate I was given by my Loan officer to the rate NAF website and was off in their favor by $150-200/m ( 775-800+ credit score) , I never did get a straight answer on that. Next we were hounded for a review via email spam , I figured since I wasn't keen on saying anything good I'd leave it be. No, 3 automated emails later I ask my lender to make these stop. Instead the lender filled it out on my behalf. 5 Stars " Great job". I guess that's one way to solve it, except I never said that, nor would have given it. In fact it's still on the NAF website, I've asked that be removed a few times... still there. Why am I writing this review today? Because I just found out my data was resold to some other company called Homebot Digest and now they are spamming me. What's worse is it appears to come from our loan officer directly as a personal email. Maybe this is just the way business is done these days, but I wish it wasn't. If possible I will update this review as my data is continually resold.
