Dealing with this company and their crooked loan officers (Zane Best) wasted 3 months of my life and hundreds of dollars. Would not recommend.

The rate and closing costs provided in the loan estimate were very competitive. After locking in the rate, the closing costs were increased in the closing disclosure by about $500. I challenged it and was contacted by a manager who suggested I look elsewhere if I didn't like it. I closed the deal in spite of the behavior of this lender but can't in good conscience recommend them to others after my distasteful experience. Even so, the loan consultant and closing specialist I worked with were very responsive

If you don't want to know the status of your loan u til the very last second, I would shop around. Closing did not happen when promised and left us without a place to stay for 4 days. Funding for the loan did not happen when they promised. Have way too many hoops to jump through. Be prepared to play the "one more thing" game with this group. Inaccurate information given to you is called a "misunderstanding". Very stressful to deal with. Again, look around at other companies.

I would strongly suggest that anyone thinking of using New American Funding should reconsider. I was left hanging by my consultant, given horrible advice, and they tried to bully me into a loan that did not suit my situation. I would give this company the worst possible review and gradation. If it were possible to take stars away, I would.

One is the most unorganized messes I’ve ever been subjected to in the lending world. Wasted so much of my client’s time and caused so much unnecessary confusion for my first time buyers. DO NOT go with New Am whether you are a buyer, or a seller accepting a loan funded offer on your home. RUN!

Communication and overall having your stuff together there are things that are out of your control but you didn’t even handle the things that are. All of you would barely respond to emails or phone calls. I took unpaid vacation and you decided that my income was variable which isn’t. The service that I received was down right trash I will be telling any one who is looking to buy a house to stay away from new American funding because it sucked. You all need to figure out how to talk to the person that you are trying to help because you suck at it.
