Very slow and long processing times. Can do better job with advice, updates during the processing period and proactive reachout.

Very disappointed with way my application was handled. At first I was approved and with an excellent rate. I submitted all documentation that was required. Then the loan officer told me that it was going to be reviewed by underwriting department. So I waited for the time he said to me. Finally after almost two weeks of waiting I decided to contact him. He actually knew already their decision and didn’t bother to notify me. After I asked he said they didn’t approved me because I has to many open accounts and I needed to pay one. I mentioned to him if they could try to put them together and I would just borrow more. He said that could be an option. Something that I would think he should know already. So he was going to try it like that and get back to me. But he never did. Really unprofessional. I would say this guy didn’t even wanted take me serious. At least let me know if yes or no. By the way his name is Sam Sanandajifar.

Horrible communication. We considered them a year ago when we were originally buying our home and had issues getting ahold of anyone after our application was started. Since their rates were good we decided to try again for a refinance with how low rates have been recently. Different people, same issues. It would take a week to hear back when we had a question or gave additional information if we got any response at all. Our file was finally escalated to the sales manager. Ultimately less than two weeks before we were supposed to close after being told things were going fine and we were conditionally approved the underwriting manager denied us because they said my wife's income was variable (it isn't) and that based on their personal opinion she was just supplementing her hours with PTO (she wasn't) and even went as far as to say they didn't understand how she could have so much PTO anyway. In reality her company had given all employees every other Friday off between Halloween and New Year's so there was a day of PTO for each recent check. It's understandable this could look strange, but it could have easily been cleared up by confirming with her HR department. The way it was handled and comments that were made were extremely unprofessional. Luckily we already had a backup company who we've had zero issues with. Don't waste your time here.

As a first time home buyer I would not recommend this company. They do not thoroughly explain the process, request documents without explaining why, and just speak to you as if you should know everything involved with the process. I have had to find outside sources to explain things to me, they make sense once explained, but I am paying new american funding and feel they should be the ones explaining everything.

Began application for HELOC in Jun 2021 and after three months no one could give me a date for closing. We began at a rate of 4.5 and then recently I received documentation for 6.75. My experience with home loan process is high. I will not be referring New American Funding to anyone.

Dayna Lingner is a promise much sales person who delivers the least she can.Newamerican Funding is poorly managed and for the most part just doesn't care. After carefully submitting our papers in the first week, the processor moved on but didn't breif the replacement processor and so we had to resubmit them.Fortunately, Livia Bell was very organized and did return phone calls in a professional manner. However, getting ahold of Dayna was like having your teeth pulled. Don't recommend this company. But don't worry, times are good in the RE Market, but we deserve better!

Total frauds. Made my first home buying experience a terrible one. I loath my house because of them. Unorganized and slow, paperwork wrong even on closing day which they didn’t even have in on time.

Over promises and under delivers. Poor communication within the company, cancelled their services and happily now closing on my home with a new lender. Felt I caught them being deceitful multiple Times, ignores the customer and agent. Just not a good practice of doing business
