The time from start to finish took a long time. Everyone I worked with were very nice. Sometimes they were slow to answer emails.

Travis initially told me that NAF would cover the appraisal fee, which is consistent with the terms of the 5-year protection pledge on NAF's website. However Travis contacted me later saying that I have to pay the appraisal fee and that he misinformed me initially. This is inconsistent with the terms on NAF's website: https://www.newamericanfunding.com/legal/5-year-protection-pledge/ My experience would have been better if I did not have to pay the appraisal fee.

This whole process has been weird and long and I am glad it's over. Augis and Jeff werent bad but I inherited them and they did me. it was also a weird deal. i I wish they kept me more informed but again we had no relationship prior. I know they worked hard and I appreciate that

We received minimal explanations on anything, there were multiple issues throughout the process, and we often had to resort to figuring things out ourselves or Google searching the answers to try to understand the process and its different elements. Robert was better than our loan officer though.

You send all these emails about refinancing and then when we go through the process and it was just a headache and frustrating.

Communication had a weird tone to it. Felt very transactional. Email comms comes we're really informal with body of email being in the subject line. Felt odd.
