Unfortunately, there were many incidents of failed communication during the application process and on several occasions, the same information was requested and provided and there was an over abundant of useless of information requested that had little to nothing to do with the financing process. This could have been smoother and less painful with Michael's help. We wish he had provided the underlying reasons that some information was being asked or had better prepared us for what was coming.

Some of the concepts and financial advice could have been explained better. Also, there were times that he could have provided better advice rather than generic answers. Dan was always very responsive and timely and for that we greatly appreciate his help in getting our loan.

Miscommunication was a very big issue. A good bit of it was not Eileen’s doing. She worked hard for me and did her best to encourage me when things weren’t looking the most positive. New American was more of my problem during the process.

Travis was fine. I thought the underwriter's were asking for ridiculous information like a letter stating why I was moving. There were several times when he would get last minute important requests from the underwriters and forward them to us. In the end, we had to stay in a hotel for 3 days because the closing date was messed up and we were not told until after we had arrived in Nevada. No one offered to reimburse us for the hotel expense or give us an additional break on the loan.
