Communication was needed at the end of the process as we were expecting to close on a Monday and found out later in the day from the Escrow officer we hadn’t received funding. This is something I felt should have been immediately revealed to us by NAF when they knew it wasn’t going to be cleared. I know the cause of this was due to the appraiser not fulfilling her duties but it still caused us a ton of stress as we were supposed to move out the weekend prior from our apartment.

Amber is a good loan officer and she genuinely cares about her clients. She always responded to my commutation and questions. Sometimes it would be the next day which is my only complaint but the questions were not that pressing in hindsight.

Steve was very helpful, however, the employees under Steve did quite the opposite. They messed up quite a bit and delayed the process. I would suggest starting there to improve.

Unfortunately the hiccup at the end is what is memorable. We had very little contact with Matt. We were told to give a quote for homeowners, our quote was less than the new policy. Then we were told the loan was going to be cancelled. We feel having only one person as a point of contact would have been a tremendous help. E-mail is great but a telephone call can clear up misunderstandings so much quicker.
