Working with Rodrigo was an absolute nightmare. He was pretty good at responding until I went under contract, then he wouldn’t answer calls. Emails he would take many days to respond if he even did. He gave me different numbers every time we talked. He was never straight forward about any of the costs associated. He said closing would be x amount of dollars and then the next week he was giving a different amount almost $2k more. And to top it off less than 30 days til close he said he didn’t have time for me and dropped me as a client. Very unpleasant to talk to. He would talk down to me and be passive aggressive with his commentary. Do your self a favor and look anywhere else. The fees for Fairway are also double of the other lenders I have dealt with.

Not profesional at all

Jarad Brown divulged our financial information to the seller we were purchasing a house from. He told the realtor we could remove condition to financing before he had financing. The lender he had us with went belly up week before close. He was rude and arrogant and totally incompetent

Awful awful awful mortgage company with nasty and sparky customer service to a disabled Veteran inquiring about help for an unexpected hardship. NOTE, I didn't seek out this company for my mortgage loan, they bought it from First Bank w/out my knowledge. BEWARE

What a horrible experience as first time home buyers. Our loan officer was always out of the office for weeks at a time and never gave us notice, we could never get ahold of him and always had to reach out to them to find out what was going on and still haven’t heard a word from anyone since closing on our home 2 weeks ago. Such a waste of the extra money they charge over other places, for closing costs when they didn’t help do a single thing. Definitely will be going somewhere else in the future.

The people I dealt with at New American were entirely unprofessional. My wife and I have credit scores over 800 and more than adequate income for the loan we wanted, but these people ghosted us: I've never experienced anything like it when dealing with a financial institution. We submitted our application and all the documents they requested and they just stopped communicating.

horrible customer service. over-promise and never delivered. absolutely no effort towards all the selling they initially offer.

Worst service ever... Me and my wife start re-financing our house in August 2019 by the owner's promise (Robert) that with our income it was everything OK. On October they ask us for a $450.00 check for appraisal, and told us that after that we could close the re-financing but that never happened. On January 2020, they said that we were not qualifying. When my wife called them, to ask them why, one of them (Gabriel) told her that she wouldn't understand because she doesn't know about laws... In total, since August we spoke with 6 different workers, any of them less prepared than the preview one. When we tried to talk to Robert, they always said that he went on a trip out of Miami (Business or Vacations)
