New American Funding look around before choosing this company. They have poor customer service they will have you believing that you are getting a mortgage when in fact they haven’t even worked on the application. Some of their sales rep don’t even know what they are doing. Poor customer service

Alex wasn't too bad, except that everything he said turned out to be basically untrue due to Marvin McAdams multiple failures, asking for THE SAME DOCUMENTS multiple times, failing to meet the timelines that NAF set, and not following through with pretty much anything. Of the five previous mortgages I’ve held, this underwriting and closing experience was the worst, by more than I could possibly quantify in five thousand characters. I will refinance this loan at my earliest convenience just to avoid paying you any additional interest. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Beware. On the other hand, if you’re a masochist who is excited about enduring unnecessarily long and redundant processes and you’re comfortable with sub par performance on the daily, NAF is for you.

Handed off the contract to the processor after initial submission. I was never made aware of who to communicate with. Processor never communicated with me. Document submission was dropped and the processor was unaware of a price change and then she missed the closing date. When she wasn't going to make the closing date no one at NAF thought requesting a contract extension was a pertinent part of the process. James exact quote to my client was, "the closing date is an arbitrary day until we get the clear to close, your real estate agent should know that. I'm the real estate agent. No lender I work with has ever said these words. The closing date is a part of a legally binding contract and it's my responsibility to make requests and changes to that contract. The buyer can experience financial harm when changes need to be made and our job is to work together to ensure that doesn't happen. This lack of care and communication is why I will never work with NAF ever again. If a buyer comes to me with NAF pre-approval I will be telling this story and I will be suggesting someone else. If I'm representing a seller and a NAF pre-approval comes in with an offer, i will be warning the buyer agent and my client. This is the sloppiest experience I have ever had and that includes Rocket Mortgage.

If Roger had stayed out of it and let Amanda do her job, the whole thing would have been better. Roger was unprofessional in pretty much every way and the one time he responded to me directly, he basically called me a liar when I told him how m 401k stuff worked, as if I don't know how my OWN ACCOUNT WORKS.

Absolutely horrible experience with Theresa. She approved us for a loan, we found a house, put an offer on it, it was accepted and we were in the process of closing and Theresa pulled our loan stating that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac changed thier policies. After investigating this, it was found that this was completely untrue. Dishonest and lacking ethical integrity, I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. I will never understand how she can do that to a family and sleep at night especially knowing that she flat out lied. Additionally, she told me that if I paid down my credit cards (which I did) she could get me approved for around $200,000 only to find out that she only pre approved me for $150,000 max. I even stopped looking for a month when I was doing what she advised me to do. Now, because of her negligence, I am in a tough position to find a home because I had to go to another lender and start the whole process over again. She proved herself to be dishonest and incompetent I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Overall poor experience. is a customer relocating from across the country you can imagine the levels of stress we encountered in this move. With my wife ask questions to clarify additional fees assess to the move was met with a very unpleasant attitude from representative. Will not recommend these services to anyone we know. Lack of sensitivity overall to the levels of stress relocating a family across country.
