I started my mortgage processing journey with mel. When I lock the mortgage rates, it was given without any points. I find the initial loan estimate it had no points And write before closing. I found out that there were 2 points. Added to my mortgage. I had two clothes and therefore I agreed on paying the points. My title mentioned it at townhouse, but the mortgage calculated as condo and edit points. After speaking with robert, I was able to remove one point, but the other point was still left on the mortga. I only had an option to proceed. Therefore, I had to accepted and closed on the property. I feel like I was scammed as initially. I was promised the mortgage without points and right before closing the points were added. I felt it was unethical business from NAF therefore me experience was unpleasant. I would not recommend this to anyone based on my experience.

Sadly, I didn't have a good experience with this lender. We entered into an agreement to build a new home after receiving pre-approval for a mortgage. The broker and processor were great. But at the 11th hour the UW nixed the deal over back taxes despite having proof the taxes were paid in full. Fortunately, the builder's internal lender stepped in and gave us a mortgage. We have good credit and met the debt / income requirements. New American hung us out to dry just days before the closing. I would not recommend them. They reached out to me and were very apologetic but there was nothing they could do. Then I looked at my credit report and found they had done FOUR hard pulls on my credit. So, New American Funding not only put me in a hard spot they also harmed my credit with excessive hard pulls that will stay on the report for two years. If you are buying a house from Lennar, just use their in-house lenders.

Absolute train wreck of an experience. Not sure if they were overloaded or just incompetent, but the communication from this team was disorganized and erratic, their project management skills were terrible and their level of professionalism was abysmal. My favorite part was when we were three days away from the close date in our contract, I had just been informed that we would "probably close" by the deadline (not something you want to hear!), and I got an OOO bounce-back from my main point of contact who had gone to Hawaii without giving me a heads up that he would be gone. Ultimately we were put at risk of losing our new house and the sizeable amount of earnest money we had put down; it was only by the good grace of the seller that we were saved. The NAF team did not seem overly concerned about the terrible risk they put us in, and I haven't heard from them since as a follow-up to apologize for the monumental miss on their part. Cannot recommend strongly enough that you never use this company's services.

These people deserve a ZERO for customer relations, if your not one of their "preffered" customers, they cut you off , no response to emails, texts , nothing, just the door ... Many other mortgage companies to choose from. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

I'd give them a zero but I don't have the option. While I am 100 percent paying my mortgage on time they have failed to pay my homeowners insurance putting my policy and credit rating in jeopardy. I have wasted hours on the phone and still cannot get an answer. Beware, they are unreliable and unresponsive.

Communication was almost nonexistent. I was left in the dark throughout the process, with no response from the team. This was also the case with regard to your Communication with the seller, builder, and title company. On top of that we were repeatedly asked to provide the same documents as they were not shared between your agents. I was initially under the impression that perhaps this was a normal headache associated with the home buying process however, after talking with our realtor, seller and title company, I was informed that they had the same experience and that this was completely outside of the norm for this process. I will not only, not recommend your company to friends and family, but will.go the extra mile to steer them in any other direction. I can only hope that this was an isolated incident and that others have not gone through this same kind of thing.

If you are thinking about using this customer for a house that needs renovating, don’t! I’m a contractor in Hot Springs Arkansas working at a customers home that uses these people for a loan and I’ve been waiting on 32k for 3 weeks after I completed a 5 month remodel. They keep telling the homeowner new things needs to be done in order for me to get paid and that the owners have to pay me out of pocket for the work. Princess, the disbursement “specialist”…..trash. Horrible communicator and lies. I don’t recommend them at all!

Zero if I could. Do not reccomend anyone working with Nicholas Sahagan. If there was a zero for communication I’d give that. He lied and changed guidlines on his own then disappears with zero explanation until it’s too late. I would have 100% pulled out of this garbage deal if I could have gotten ahold of him sooner. Horrible experience
