Kelly was great to work with. However, once the mortgage was sent to underwriting and processing, then the customer service was not great. The website implied I would be kept updated on the status of my loan processing, but I didn't receive updates unless I inquired to the processor. I was also told my loan would be a Wells Fargo loan and be serviced by New American, but it was sold to Wells Fargo for servicing before my first payment.

Unfortunately our closing was delayed a few times because paperwork was not collected in time. We had to take care of getting important paperwork ourselves because it was not well organized. We were not happy having to tie it all together ourselves

Use a different Title company. Horrible experience with the Backman Title! We've used them years ago but their service has gone downhill!

Loyd did a good job with communicating with me. Unfortunately when I had questions, I would be referred to Cassandra, and she didn’t always get back to me timely or couldn’t answer my questions. The process took about 3 months which seems too long. Sometimes Loyd would tell me one thing and Cassandra another. Loyd was pleasant to work with on his own.

Arnold did not get on the file until closer to closing as my clients original loan officer left the company in the middle of our transaction. We were delayed 3 weeks on closing due to a condo review which was frustrating enough, but to be waiting 2 weeks for a response from an employee no longer employed with no one reaching out on their files was even more frustrating. By the time Arnold had received the file there was nothing he could do to help speed the process up.

The loan officer I started out with was DylanFernandez. Kim was better although I feel communication could have been better.
