It was a lot of information being withheld from me until later in the loan process. My interest rate was change with out letting me know after I was told it was locked in. I was not told that I needs 2 witnesses at the closing until the notary was on her way to my house.

Jacob was great and consistently helpful from the beginning. However, our loan officer Jennifer consistently dropped the ball and was very unhelpful from the start. We had to push back our close date because of these issues and barely had any communication with her along the way to even get questions answered. I've used New American previously, but won't be doing so again after this experience.

Howard was fine to work with, my problem was with New American, someone dropped the ball with the appraisal and we had to postpone the closing 3 times this home went under contract May 31 and did not close until July 30.

Using my own title company for escrow & title work seemed to be an issue for them. Took about 2 weeks longer than it should have.

Fast , connected communication . You are text and called by other refinancing . You forget who your dealing with and their sneaky asking you to fill out forms. I looked for American or nicks name. Or I didn’t reply
