My husband and I worked with Matt in 2018 when we purchased our condo and the service was great. So when were in the market for a new home we immediately decided to work with Matt. The main issue we faced was his unresponsiveness and mismanagement of documents. We went days without an update, we had to initiate contact to understand where we were in the process and we were asked several times for the same documents. We missed our original closing date due to misinformation from Matt.

It took four times longer than I was told it was going to take. I had to call and leave emails several times before I received any responses to my inquiries.

As the selling agent representing the buyer, it would have been helpful if I could have left Diana Rodriguez a voice mail message on her cell phone. However, her voice mail box was always full and I could not leave a message. When I called her office ground line twice, I received a message that the number had been disconnected. I called twice to make certain that I had the correct number. Not a good advertisement!

The process and closing was unorganized, chaotic, and unprofessional. More honesty and transparency throughout the process - keeping our best interests in mind beyond the sake of closing a loan. Asking for all documentation at one time and not losing paper work that had already been submitted. Checking for errors on the closing documents - not waiting last minute; there were mistakes twice. More communication between all parties in the loan process - sales agent / underwriter / closing agent etc

This was the worst mortgage company we could have chosen, it took them 2 months to close on our house. They promise that your, “pre approval” already goes through underwriting so they can get a 21 day close. We got our pre approval, after sending an insane amount of documents proving our work, making us call bosses from years ago, making our current managers write letters and calling them over 5 times each to verify employment. We were sent the wrong forms to fill out all the time. Horrible.

Lack of communication to all parties, misrepresentation to buyer, focused only on getting the deal closed no matter what - even if it wasn't in the best interest of the client. I prefer to work with lenders who care about the people first, not the money.

Too many fingers in the pot. Each asking for same info that was previously submitted. This happened multiple times. Very frustrating.
