New American was the issue, not Nathan, as he was professional and gave timely responses always. As such he is a great asset to your company. The overall process of refinacing was unprofessional. Plenty of action in 1st week and then the last 2 weeks but zero in the middle. Duplicate requests for data, uncertainty and wrong dates given frequently. A general lack of overall management of the whole process that could be better handled. I provided info immediately but then seemed to wait for action

Steve is very personable and that’s what pulled me in. The communication was not great. An email would be sent and I wouldn’t know and I was expected to return correspondence right away. Rarely would I get a phone call unless I didn’t see the emails. Then I signed the papers for the loan and 12 days later I still haven’t heard that the loan went through or when my payment is due and it is the 6 th of the month . This is my 7 the mortgage and never had communication issues before.

Would've appreciated more communication with updates on the status of the process. Zack was very nice and helpful when I did communicate with him. I was being pressured by friends and other mortgage companies to abandon Zack and go with them or someone else. After all was said and done, Zack did come through for us. My loan was funded expeditiously, which impressed me very much. I wish Zack well and am looking forward to doing business with our new mortgage company.

I was told that the quickness of closing would be how fast I could respond to everything. Turned out it was not and New American was just extremely slow with everything.

Please see emails I sent, and the replies (or lack of replies) I received. Communication is the key, and your people have failed. I was in the dark, had unanswered questions, and was surprised with a 90 minute notification from mobile notary saying he was on his way.
