As a first time home buyer, I was explicit about my lack of knowledge and intentionally asked Eva to over-share info, tentative timeline of events and documents due. I repeatedly had to seek out answers from your team, asked for clarification, and follow-up questions. There was a lot of info that was only provided AFTER I ASKED, such as when documents needed to be returned, clarification on what certain processes meant to me as the buyer. Very stressful process and utterly disappointing service

If they would have given me proper information at the beginning of the process rather than throughout the process. Things that was needed could have been easily sent in a iy matter rather than late. Communication with the buyer could be a lot better. Follow up when you say you are. Don't get nasty attitudes with the buyer for following . This process was the worse I have ever experienced in my life.

We started the loan process in Sept. 2024, we didn't close until Jan.2025. We were asking for a VA cashout refinance. Later on into the process we were told we couldnt do a cash refinace for our type ofnloan. Bailey should have known thos before we started it. We encountered many problems through the process. When we first started it our pest inspection was in date, however due to the lengthy process it expired and to pay for another inspection. Our house appraisal was in date as well and it expired due to the lengthy process. Bailey called my husband a lier because he thought he lied about the cost of the appraisal, he did not. On several occasions we were asked to send more paperwork and he had to have them that day. We have no access to print some of them off and we told him he did not have access. This is just a small amount of trouble we have had during the loan process. They lied and blamed the notary for a closing date reschedule(he did not). We found that there many errors made during the loan process.i would not recommend to anyone.

Scott was communicative, but it was the errors of his counterparts and lack of communication of them, last minute constant changes in requirements. Who wires funds to the wrong bank? Who puts assets in that aren't meant to be included/sold? Who says you have clear to close and then retracts the statement? Who has to deal with 3 different offices in 3 different parts of the country? Who preapproves someone then yet 1 day before closing, has a whole new set of rules/requirements? I will never recommend New American Funding ever! This was so stressful on the buyers, the buyer's sellers, the seller of the property of this buyer's sellers, the agents, the closer. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!
