Lender communicated heavily with the seller's side, instead of leaving the buyer's agent to that job. It made it seem like she was advocating for the sellers more than her own clients. Communication was thrown off by the long email chains that involved people who didn't need to be included in the information, creating paperwork and further communication problems. Overall, her association with the sellers side made this transaction confusing, awful, and was completely unbeneficial to the buyers and buyers agent she was supposed to be serving.

The lender failed to be open, transparent, and very communicative! He lacked providing updates without being asked. I personally close 50+ transactions ALONE as a single agent a year working with multiple lenders and this by far in my 9+ years of experience has been one of the worst. The title company was frustrated with how that end of things went. It didn't close on time. The buyers were in tears and dissatisfied because of misccommunications and errors on the lenders side. It was truly an unpleasant experience I would never wish upon any of my customers but especially young first-time home buyers.

the communication was very poor on this transaction and we missed the closing date that was set twice. I even scheduled a call back with the loan officer per her instructions and I never received a callback.

If the housing market wasn't a complete scam. We were charged a higher interest rate on our loan than the national average dispute having 2 buyers with over 800 credit scores and an extremely good debt/income ratio. The housing market has been and is still in the hands of greed hungry pigs. The fact our lender had the audacity to blame poor people for our high rates is a shining example that those involved with mortgage lending are a disgrace to our species.
