More support from the staff with the client, who this may be their first home purchase and need more hand holding and compassion. There should be a level of professionalism from your team to meet each household where they are and treat them with dignity and respect.

Staff lost documents required for my loan, delaying the closing process by a week. Documents were mis-filed on a computer. It was nearly impossible to reach staff by phone due to staff sitting at the fair booth instead of being available for customers. I had to drive to the office to even make contact with anyone. Focus should be on current customers first, and obtaining new customers second.

Donald was friendly, knowledgeable and always answered my questions in a timely manner, but I wish he and his team would have been more proactive with updates and information on where things were at in the loan process rather than waiting for me to reach out to them and ask.

Not being told 3 hours after closing to "not take possession of the house" by the sellers attorney because NAF didn't release the funds due to 'improper paperwork' which was generated by NAF.

Poor communication and inability to reach someone who can assist is a huge drawback. There should always be a back-up person assigned when the assigned person can't respond due to scheduled time off or sick leave, etc. There were atleast 3 documented times when I couldn't reach someone because they were out of office or ill but the issue I was addressing was critical. This shows a need for a proper fall-back system for someone else to proxy or address customer concerns in a timely manner.
