I felt that instead of receiving a service they used me to sell a mortgage. I provided every document needed for the process and the only thing I asked several times was a bit more time for closing and I knew it was my right to ask for a week extra and they did not listened my plead. At the end they only added a couple days extra for closing and that was not sufficient. The bank agent didn’t have a good communication and when I asked him information about the homes he was busy with other client.

I'm happy that the loan got closed and with the rate I got. However, communication with the team was very sub-par. I found myself constantly reaching out for updates.. I would send things in that they requested of me, and then I had to reach back out after several days, not even knowing if they received my documents. I feel like there should be much more communication on what is going on, what is still needed, where things are at along the way. I felt in the dark too way too often!

It was never easy to get in contact with Marti or any of the staff there. Poor communication. The process took a month and a half.

Better communication from lender. I had to call, text, and email before I could be a response from Jane. This is unacceptable for a business professional especially in the real estate climate.

I had to initiate communication for every update. I was never notified that the closing had been delayed and had been advised not to pay my February payment. If I had not reached out for an update when I did, my refinance would have not gone through due to a late payment. At signing the paperwork had my husbands name incorrect and we were given conflicting information on how to correct it. The notary had to reprint and we had to re-sign all documents.

My account was mismanaged, the advice I was given was incorrect, closing items were not fully explained which prolonged this entire process. I was left in the dark for weeks at times with no one contacting me back. This was an extremely unpleasant ordeal especially during these trying times. This internal refinancing experience took nearly a year due to poor advice and absent agents.
