Great in being responsive early on in getting the pre-approval and wealth of knowledge in the business!

I am a hands on learner I would have liked to have ben offered to come in and sit down when it came down to signing such important documentation. After being pre approved everyone proceeded like that kind of meant a guaranteed approval which didn't happen. The educational program that was offered should be offered with the pre approval. I learned many things during the process that I wish I had been educated on initially. Overall the job got done,I appreciate the hard work that was put in.

At times there was a lack of communication which was frustrating-When I did speak with Steve, he was helpful, but with some of his associates my questions and emails went unanswered, I was asked to re-fax information already sent...important emails were not sent to me, but to another person involved in the home purchase, even though I was the one getting the loan, and that was frustrating. I did enjoy working with Steve however--he did what he said he would do

Everyone was very kind and helpful when I spoke with them. But, as a first time home buyer, the communication could have been clearer. Sometimes my wife was left out of emails. I would prefer having one contact at envoy, it made the process hard when I was trying to figure out who I needed to send questions to. Also, it would be helpful if you sent more information when you sent docusign document. Sometimes I would recieve them and there would be no instructions or info on what it was for.

While the mortgage approval process was pretty painless, our only concern was that we wish there was more transparency at the beginning of the process regarding the closing costs. We were told in our initial conversation that the closing costs would be 3-4% of the loan amount but ours came in closer to 6% (after taking into consideration the points). When we received the initial disclosure we felt the estimate was high and I believe we asked about the number being reduced by the time we closed but the number ended up being even higher than the already high estimate. Otherwise, we received great service and are happy with the ultimate result.

We had to send items several times. All.ours was was a refinance. You had all the I fo you needed seemed like one area didn't know what the other side did or didn't do. What should.have taken 2 weeks took 3 months. Calls were delayed being returned. When calls were made to us they were asking for things we had already sent to another or used portal.

Taj did what she said she would do! Being kept in the loop as the Realtor is my only pet-p. Taj and her company has a different communication style than the mortgage brokers and loan officer vets that I’ve worked with for the past 30 yrs but I feel this is an easy fix~ The experience was great, Taj and her team knows how to get the job done and get the goal accomplished promptly, very impressive! I’m sending my cousin her way on Monday^;^! Overall, I’m please with Taj ??!

Alex was great to start with, then 2 weeks before closing he went MIA. His processor had to call his boss to communicate with us.
