Being proactive and sending updates. Having sense of urgency. Calling back when promised. Helping to move things along. Taking ownership of the process instead of blaming other department/person. Providing better/timely answer. For example: By which date can I expect to have an update regarding xxx? He answers as soon as possible. This is not acceptable answer nor does it answer my question. It should be answered as you can expect it by Oct. 1st noon but will keep you updated as we move along

there were several deadlines not met. We we were told specific dates for the buying process and dates were always pushed back. We we were supposed to close on Sept 9 and that didn't happen. then Sept 12 and that didn't happen either. were told our monthly payment would be approx $3800 and it wound up being over $4000. we had to send duplicate documents because patty couldn't find the same documents sent months earlier. very frustrating and stressful experience. Not recommended!

Only Kayla would keep in touch or answer questions. Kathy or Cathy kept her voice mailbox full so you could never leave a message and she would not return text messages. Belinda wouldn't resond most of the time. Moved from out of state and this whole ordeal was a nightmare, our real estate agent said that is a big reason why she doesn't refer people to new american.

Communication is the key! Not doing enough research. Not as knowledgeable as I thought she would be. Not knowing information that other lenders knew without having to do any research.

Had the same lack of communication I had the first time around, was not clear and slightly deceptive. Not that hard to be extra clear and honest. Should not advertise streamline FHA loans as no cost, if i have to send you a check that is a cost. I was reached out to for months by another loan officer, tried to contact that specific loan officer and got kicked back to Amir.

Better communication. I had to email 2 - 3 times to get a response as to what was going on with our Loan. Better knowledge. I was given wrong info about my 401K. I've purchased 10 - 11 homes in my life thus far & this was definitely the worst time I've had in trying to acquire a loan. I'm glad you sold my loan to Wells Fargo so I don't have to deal with New American anymore.

Communication was lacking throughout the process between the loan officer and me as the buyer's Realtor. There was deficient internal communication between the loan officer and underwriters. The sale did not close on time and even after being extended had far too much drama on the actual day of the closing with the buyer and myself being notified by the title office (not the lender) that the closing was going to be delayed. Unacceptable level of service overall.
