The initial loan processor was not as responsive as he could have been e.g. did not return calls or answer emails. Until another loan processor was assigned my loan finally advanced. Alex was responsive as was EJ Johnson, the newly assigned loan processor they represented the company well.

Sema was great; the experience overall was unpleasant. The process overall took four months, which is unacceptable even with Covid and historically low rates. These are convenient excuses, but still unacceptable. There were times when I would go weeks without hearing from anyone, either Sema or Susan Kammack, our loan processor. There were a number of requests for identical information, or signatures for the same documents. And inaccuracies and delays were common. Sorry, very unpleasant.

The experience was fine until the end. My loan officer left and didn't even give me the heads up. I emailed him wondering what was going on and then I got his "hi i left the company contact so and so if you need something". It would have been a great experience if whoever he was passing me to would have reached out introduced themselves and passed the torch. Other than that the process was professional and I would recommend ya'll to others.

I was quoted zero closing costs: no money out of pocket (the actual cost was going to be covered by various credits) of which, I was completely upfront, letting Tim know that I didn't want the loan if it was going to be out of pocket on my end, I know this seems unreasonable but those were the terms I set. After about a month and a half or so, time and effort I invested, Tim came back with closing costs in excess of $3000? Just felt pretty slimey.

Mark was really easy to work with and provided timely communication. Overall my experience was not so please try as after the initial loan application there were several issues that were not resolved in a timely manner due to inefficiencies in the processing dept - ultimately delays that occurred ended up in my having to pay $620 for extending the rate lock. To me the only reason the rate lock extensions were needed were that the processing dept did not follow through with timely coordinatio

I really don't know what processing mortgages entails, so I can't rate it fairly. The time in processing my client's loan took longer than we expected. However, I appreciate all the work in getting us to closing.
