Communication was fine until I committed to the refinance. Receiving a routine update or working through issues was most unpleasant. Multiple requests for information went ignored. I was told how busy they were; the process took over two months to complete. There was a lack of customer care and ownership on the part of Andrew Encinas. I continued through the process only because of the competitive financing rate. I do not recommend his services and suggest you find someone else.

Nothing about this loan went as it was first communicated. The loan took approximately 5 months to close and the costs were not as first stated. I have purchased and refinanced homes in the past, this has to have been my worst experience. Buying a car was less frustrating than this experience.

there was no competitiveness with the interest rate on offered as compared to the market when the actual loan got processed. Even after we asked for it. comminicatin was prompt at times but not consistently. Bjorn n his other colleague seem to get easily offended when there was ant ask for a better service level as a client. Once naf knew we were locked in it felt like lip service and not the best client wervice sadly . they did close the loan quickly but our credit was impeccable

During the initial conversations with Joseph regarding my interest in a home equity loan, he was communicative and accessible. He requested we push the loan application forward on or about Decmeber 26th. We went ahead and ran the hard credit check and initiated the process. He advised that the appraisal would need to be scheduled but I told him we would be out of town the following week (Dec 29 - Jan 4) and I was reluctant to spend extra on the appraisal prior to the trip. He suggested I charge it to a credit card and I told him I would follow up with him over the weekend after he told me he would be available over the weekend. I decided to wait to pay for the appraisal until my return home. On January 2nd I received the following text message from Joseph, "No documentation was received. This will be cancelled by the end of business day. Give me a call with an update. 949-445-8329" This message was not well received and I felt the tone was unacceptable considering I had advised Joseph the week prior that I was going to be out of town during that time. Later in the process, after the appraisal, I was advised that the pool at our home needed to be filled with water or covered due to it being empty. I specifically asked Joseph what was required for the cover in the pool. I did bot received a response until the following week but immediately addressed the issue on saturday by covering the pool with a large wooden platform. I was advised the following week that the cover was not acceptable according to the underwriters. I spent approximately $500 on materials and was frustrated by Joseph's lack of communication and delayed response to my email, moreso because of the pressure and urgency he put on me when he messaged me on January 2nd. The delay in communication was frustrating and caused me to waste time and money that wasn't necessary. Overall, Joseph could have been more tactful in the way he chose to communicate and shown more patience regarding beginning the process instead of what I felt was pressure in order to "close the sale" and move the application forward. He could have also been more proactive about communicating with me when the appraisal issue arose by giving me a call directly instead of relying on just an email, which was a stark contrast from the direct communication he provided when telling me the application was going to be cancelled in January 2nd.

Communication was extremely poor, this led to a disasterous closing. We had to extend our closing date multiple times due to the lack of communication between the lender and title company.

A better job of keeping our agency and your client informed of the delays and doing what you were supposed to do when you were supposed to do it. Our closing was delayed 5 hours because the bank did not have their part done. Bill attempted to blame not having the documents, but it was found that the documents had been email 4 previous times and the property departments never got them. It was a frustrating experience that let to delays, headaches and lots of frustration!

We had lengthy and open communication with Joe throughout our journey, which is why we chose him over 3 other lenders we spoke with. We were happy with our initial conversations. Joe was patient when explaining our options to us. This is our third home purchase, so we are well-versed in the home-buying process. However, we had a unique circumstance that made things more complex. After signing on with Joe, we started to question our choice. We felt like we were constantly signing and re-signing paperwork. There were near repetitive meetings, which was difficult as parents of two young children. We did not understand why we continually needed to do "something" our lender, when that had never been our experience in the past. Things took a turn for the worse our last week before settlement. We were confidently told time and again that our file was "so clean and easy" and that we could close "as quickly as 2 weeks" so we were shocked that desipte having 4+ weeks, the day before closing we were told it might not happen. The stress this put our family and our realtor under was immense. Our sellers were supposed to close the same afternoon and were made to move their settlement back to Monday. The only information we kept getting back was that it was an "extremely busy time and after a holiday weekend." But, this should have been known all along. My husband and I signed all paperwork within 1 hour of receiving it and kept being told there was nothing we could do to make the documents come faster. In the end we settled the same day as planned, after several hours of delay, but even the morning of it was unclear if we would settle. We had arranged with our work and our childcare and we did not know if we would have to rearrange it all in a matter of hours. We expressed our discontent via phone with Joe and he raised his voice immediately. We were not happy with our service at all and will be looking to refinance elsewhere as soon as it makes sense.

My immediate contact was wonderful. The processor that worked on my case was unprofessional and rude. He treated the insurance company I chose like crap and I never found out about additional things I supposedly needed to provide until the very last minute every time. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they were to make some significant changes with their staff and processes.
