Communication was not the best. Took forever. Communication with multiple people without knowing the role of them in the process of the loan. Communication of person in Arizona or Texas was awful. Thanks for the loan

Lack of communication, docs sent were not sent to the processor, my client was very upset and had an unpleasant experience buying his 1st home because of his lender.

I felt that when we email American funding they would take 3 days to respond. Also, the communication wasn’t the best. It took us 2 months to refinance. Daniella also kept asking for me to obtain paperwork for her frequently and wanted a quick response. We didn’t hear from them for 2-3 weeks and we reached to ask why it was taking so long with the process. I honestly would never recommend this company to any of my friends. We only got a great rate that’s the only reason we decided to continue

I found most of Matt's email communication to be very unprofessional. There was miscommunication from Matt to all parties. We received conflicting information about what was required for closing and were forced to complete some requirements after closing. At one point, Matt said "I don't want to waste any more of my time with this." and kept pointing the blame at others. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with this experience.

I understand with the current covid-19 situation that things had to be handled differently. But we still felt like our emails and phone calls were not answered promptly communication was not great. The last minute changes and confusion and mix up getting a TEXT right before we were supposed to go to sign papers made the experience very stressful.

Better communication, there was not communication until last minute. I would ask questions and not get answers. I asked for typos to be fixed on paperwork that even at the closing we’re not fixed. This is my 30 years of mortgage and finances and should not be taken lightly by someone I am trusting to handle my finances with. Which is how I felt I was treated. It was not until I threatened to speak to a manager and cancel the deal that I received multiple text messages (not even a phone call).
