The process was a mess! I was told they had everything they needed and then They would keep asking for me days before closing. Corey put out close date weeks out from what is was supposed to be with no explanation. It was a mess and no apologies were provided !

There was a lack of communication between all of the people working on the loan and us. Because they would ask a question in an email and not explain what exactly they were wanting from us. Even after a phone call. Cause then someone else would be asking for something similar to what finally got figured out.

During my refinance, Stephanie disappeared and did not respond to emails or phone calls. When I called the office they told me she was in and on the phone. NAF then asked me to pay to extend my rate lock due to their negligence. This is the third time I have gotten a home loan and by far the worst. I will say when I initially spoke with Stephanie she was transparent and honest when we discussed rates and points. She did talk to me like I was stupid at times but better to assume I know nothing.

Communication from Patrick and Tina was at best, minimal...nothing was explained to us well...we felt we had to drag out information; Tina was very difficult to understand on the phone; Her emails had poor grammar and most concerning, the emails had incorrect information which made us panic at times. Closing didn't happen when scheduled due to misinformation; was told we would not have a pmt for 2 mos and then it was only 1; just a lot happened and we lost our confidence in Patrick and Tina.

More experience and knowledge is needed to be able to predict potential issues and best course of action. And better crisis management skills could have made our house buying experience a little less chaotic.

The latest correspondence was addressed to the wrong names. I mentioned this in a text message and it still was not corrected. We were asked to produce information and forms twice after we had initially sent in all previously requested items. The biggest mistake was when the check that should have been sent to payoff our current loan was, instead, deposited into our checking account by mistake. We had to call the closing attorney’s office to make sure the error was corrected.

She took over for someone else half way through the process of our refinance. We were not notified of the change. She called us to start the refinance process when we were already in the process of refinancing. The confusion is very unsettling when dealing with something this big.
