We don't feel we were guided for the possible delays and situations that could and did occur. We should have had our refinancing open with several lenders. Our initial loan process with PL was cancelled without our permission or knowledge. We were exposed to fees and penalties due to delays not caused by us. Our rate lock expired due to the long process. Much of our angst and comes from lack of communication regarding how onerous the underwriting process.

Our refinance took nearly 2 months. Irving had zero communication skills. Every question we had needed to be escalated to his boss because Irving would disappear for days, even weeks at a time. We finally got everything completed but will be leaving this company as soon as possible.

Pre-approval was given prematurely in my opinion by supervisor. Most stressful closing I've ever experienced. 3 extensions & it still was touch and go to close! My buyer had to come into the office so many times with additional paperwork that I lost count. Underwriting department has no flexibility or exceptions for an existing client with an appraisal that came in 10K over the purchase price. I have 30 years of banking experience and have never gone through an experience such as this.

The process was a nightmare it took almost 3 months to do the closing, there was so much lack of communication none of the numbers I discussed with Jordan at the end were real. Worst experience ever.

Unorganized operation, better communication would have helped during escrow, hard to deal with 4 different people on all different speeds , don’t know how it happened but somehow a person I never met gave me 445k to buy a condo that’s all that matters.

I have had the opportunity to have houses built in six states, now it is true the houses I had built were custom-built houses and don't not of the type we purchased in your subdivision. As we got closer to what I thought was the closing date the date kept moving it would not have been so confusing except I was coming from another state to make the final walk-through and attend the closing. During the walk through the supervisor told my daughter if she was not satisfied then "don't buy it"

We were unhappy from the service provided by Dave Hohe and NAFINA. Originally I was quoted a low rate (2.79) and signed a loan estimate on that rate. A month later, on the loan commitment date (a week before closing), without any notice, I received by email a form to sign that I agree that my rate will go up to 3.10. No explanations given. Apparently, they either decided not to lock the initial rate (without consulting me) or neglected to lock it. Dave did not take any responsibility for the mistake at any time or try to explain what happened. Dave's response was "it's just $25 a month" (which comes up to $9000 total). Only after we contacted the CEO of the company directly we were able to lower the rate to 2.99, but it was too late in the process to change companies. We were really frustrated from the experience. The eventual closing fees were also higher than originally estimated. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because his team was courteous and did their job on time, however, I do not recommend.

My experience with the loan processors was awful. Blythe went on vacation the day after she was assigned to our loan, then someone else picked it up. The lack of communication from both of them left me wondering what was going on with our loan. My questions were not answered the same day on most occasions. Peter was good in the beginning of the process, but that communication also dwindled over time. It was a long frustrating and nerve racking process and I would not recommend this company
