Issues and items were represented from the re-finance company that they conveyed that they controlled when they didn't control things the title company did. So, many things were said that didn't happen or happened way too late. This was estimated to close on July 5 and didn't close until July 23. Daniel tried to say all the right things; but he just didn't come through when needed. It wasn't just Daniel too. His supervisor Rayan also was not very customer-friendly. Bad experience!

Stephanie responded by phone and email usually within a couple of hours. Trying to communicate with Brian was like pulling teeth. Rarely did I get a response by email and once by phone. If I wanted to know something and had a question, I quickly learned to reach out to Stephanie. Stephanie is a hard worker and when she said she would let you know something she did. Stephanie is the one who did the work from my point of vision. Brian just took the info. Stephanie made it happen.

Scott did not explain the refi process well and could not deliver the rate he verbally promised when we closed. He talks very fast using the terms that are industry lingo and does not do a good job of explaining the process for a layman.

The communication was poor. I understand that some things take time and I would have appreciated more transparency and honesty about the time it would take to complete the process. Once it was almost completed not being honest that the paperwork was not ready to sign and I took off of work early 2 times due to "thinking it would be ready" then not calling to inform me that it wasn't ready, or calling me when I was in the office waiting to finalize.

Vy was regularly unavailable or unresponsive with providing updated pre-approval letters for offers we wanted to submit. Because of that, we missed out on deals. Also, I felt that multiple times she dropped the ball for our buyers. The last time she didn't communicate with the buyers it held up the closing, which was very disappointing to all. This is my 2nd deal with New American Funding, and I will highly recommend that future buyers use a different company.
