Our first time meeting with Newhomes funding they ran our credit had us bring W-2’s and everything.Told us we qualified for the USDA loan this was in April. So we looking for a house that had to be On USDA land not to many options where I’m from, found a house in August. Three weeks before closing they tell us we need almost 7,000$ to close that we don’t qualify for USDA.Thought they would have known that from the first time we meet. Good news turned into bad news three weeks before closing.

This was my first time purchasing a home. I feel there was a lot of contradicting information from my lender and the escrow company. The entire mortgage office seemed to be very unorganized. I feel my lender was condescending when I would ask questions. I had to rely on my escrow officer and realtor to help me through mortgage-related questions because I didn't want to ask my lender. In the future, I would choose not to use New American Funding.

Andy was very supportive, and I believe not the real problem in this instance. The bitter feelings I have is for the support people he works with. I am not sure where the break down in this company is but I feel Andy should have been aware that my loan was not progressing properly. This refinance started on June 8, 2019 and today, August 26, 2019 it still has not closed. Communication with the processing people was nonexistent. If it hadn't been for Andy there would have been no communication!

The loan went through but it was very frustrating and much of the paperwork had to be sent in multiple times and it took so long that the first appraisal ran out and had to be done a second time.

Didn't have the best experience with them. My husband contacted them in February 2019 regarding obtaining a home loan. The woman we spoke to was okay as far as customer service. I felt as though she wasn't really interested in helping us. After my husband initially spoke to her, she never contacted us again. We decided to work with a different mortgage lender which approved us the same day.

We were asked for duplicate info over & over, despite consistently cc’ing all parties. When I expressed concern that we were still being asked for info to clear final conditions 3 days before closing, the response I received was sassy & unprofessional. Despite that “reassurance,” our closing co. did not receive docs until <1 hour til closing. We never saw final numbers; our loan amount increased without our knowledge or approval, and even at closing, the CD was unbalanced with the title company.
