I was told that the pre approval was completely underwritten and that there would be no surprises at closing. However, twice on the day before it closed I was being asked for things that I had to scramble around and find. Also when things were not going well for closing from the sellers side, I felt there was a lack of communication to me about what was happening.

It wasn't a bad experience, my main issue is that I just didn't hear from the loan officer at all in the beginning, the buyer was the one giving me all the updates. It wasn't until I reached out that I started receiving some communication. I just wouldn't have known anything that was going on if it weren't for the buyer (in the beginning).

My overall experience was good. Todd and his team took good care of us. Email correspondence is great, there’s a strong need for personable interaction though. I would definitely refer them to someone else.

It was memorable but not particularly in a upbeat and positive way. But, in the end we got our loan. Last minute running around is quite frustrating and uncalled for.
