Communication. I found it to be very subpar, and at times unacceptable. Neither my calls or the calls from my Transaction coordinator were returned promptly. and many times not at all. Same for emails. The few days leading up to closing were very stressful for myself and my client as communication seemed to stop completely. Unfortunately, I won't be able to recommend Newamerican in the future to clients.

After finalizing the loan, we emailed Mike on 3 different occasions requesting to talk to him. We didn’t receive a call back or an email acknowledging our request. Its a shame because 3/4 of the loan process was perfect. The last quarter of the process felt like a bait and switch due to the fact that the final numbers kept changing after the fact that we had agreed to all of the terms of the loan.

Obviously the COVID situation has everyone stretched but the lack of attention on my loan was beyond that. I had to constantly call and remind him and his team of upcoming deadlines. For example the signing of docs and the closing date. They missed the closing date by five days- the only reason it closed is I asked the day after scheduled close how it went and got a dumfounded silence on the other end followed by excuses. There is more but this survey is limited to 500char. Not happy.

First I had Sean Alexander and he would not return simple phone calls regarding the loan. I guess when he had enough of me trying to call to get answers I was pushed over to Nathan who at least answered the phone. But when it came to fighting a ridiculous under priced appraisal I wrote everything up in a tidy word document (twice) and they still didn't fight for the correct GLA or the fact there was no reason to subtract 15k when both houses were built the same.Forever to close and I helped alot

My problem is not just with Jake, but with nearly every single person we dealt with throughout this transaction. I would never recommend and have actually steered people away from you guys. Communication is vital, and New American is a failure at communication, company-wide.

We (the sellers and i) were told we were sent a list of insurance agencies to get quotes from. Neither party received any lists. I was able to secure a quote from state farm but instead had to settle with a policy from out of state that Kelly selected for us. Contact and communication were sub par. Closing costs went from 54 dollars to over 600 dollars about 10 mins before sitting down with the attorney to close. I have yet to sign any paperwork with the insurance company she provided. Etc..

We didn't have a issue with Michael, he was the only one that really helped and made a effort and made extra phone calls to resolve issues. No one else could give a straight answer or was willing to find out the answer. In my profession, I deal with human lives and this would not fly with patient family's. When told you are pre-approve and you think that things should run very smooth, it didn't. Right up to the closing things kept changing and things asked for. Glad we had a good real-estate a
