More updates, without me having to email and inquire. I bought a second home last year, with another company, and the mortgage rep texted and emailed to just "check in" and update me frequently. This was not the case in this refinance. I had to email and ask for updates. Also, ALL documents needed to refinance should have been disclosed up front. However, the refinance went through, and the process was okay, but not great.

Understand that having to take over for someone else made his job more challenging, but would have liked more communication. If you had 5 levels instead of just 3, he would be a 4. So that's better than "just okay."
