When you promise someone something you follow through, when you tell a Client that they don't need to bring anything to closing, that's What you're expecting not get blind sided to have to now come up with money at closing, also telling Client that they won't need to pay two month's of mortgages another lie.. I'm super disappointed. I wanted what was promised; on top of that, I had a super bad experience with the title company. They were very unprofessional successful and disrespectful in every way.

There were a few very important instances where we were assured New American could accomplish what we wanted for our closing and that turned out to be completely false. If we had known we would have gone with another lender. And when it was communicated that New American could not handle our closing how we were initially assured they could, there was no sympathy or apology expressed. Nothing with our closing turned out the way we wanted, and the tone expressed was almost an ambivalent disregard for our concerns. If New American is only competent at processing closings "like 99% of other couples, with borrowers as man and wife" we should have been told that from the onslaught.

My experience would have been better with more communication. Carlos and I initially spoke about refinancing my home. Upon reviewing my documents and finances, he found my car loan and suggested a refinance for it. I had my appraisal, which came back lower than anticipated. Carlos completed the refinance and achieved the goal (lower monthly payment and interest rate), but he didn't communicate the fact that my car refinance wasn't included. It wasn't until I signed the paperwork that I realized my car wasn't refinanced. I had to call him to figure that part out. He increased my home loan to give me a refund to pay towards my car loan, but didn't discuss it with me. I was told I wouldn't have a car payment and the refinance was included only to find out that wasn't true. I still have a car payment, however, I have to use the refund towards the car loan. Although I'm glad my home was refinanced, I don't appreciate the lack of communication about a refinance that didn't happen.

The loan officer needs to improve his customer service and deliver to what he promised to the client, poor responding to clients email and phone messages, did not work side by side with client from the beginning to the end, lack of communication and left the client up in the air during the loan process. but, I give the loan processor (Alex Bello) 5 stars for her works.
