No I would not, but thank you

The information gathered by the NAF team before sending a loan estimate was inadequate for completing a full financial picture of me and my husband. The terms we were given after locking in the loan details and interest rate were unreasonable and the communication surrounding the financial moves we would need to make before closing on the house was unclear at best. We loved John O'Brien, who we initially worked with, but who left the company just after giving us a loan estimate. After our account was shifted from him to C'Nira, we were receiving piecemeal communication from Anthony, C'Nira, Marilyn, and Monique making the entire process inefficient, inaccurate, and frustrating beyond belief. We had to push our closing date back nearly a week because the team at NAF was incapable of getting the documentation needed in a timely manner. The communication with us, our realtor, and our closing attorney leading up to closing was essentially nonexistent.

It was both my husband and I buying our home and although things started picking up later, Pam was never in communication with both of us. She only spoke with my husband and to me degraded my position in buying our home. Also because things moved slower in the beginning we lost out on the original pricing for the home we chose. We don’t know who to fault for that but that also made us push past our limit to lock down the home we wanted. There was inconsistent communication through the process and it left us confused and more stressed than anything. We are thankful that everything worked out in the end but strongly suggest that communication be better with future clients.

The communication from this company is horrendous. The same documents were request over and over. Underwriting dug into things that were ridiculous and should have had zero bearing on the loan. We ended up submitting HUNDREDS of pages of documents to them. They have every bank statement of ours dating back 2 years, for example. Our broker should have been advocating for us and communicating with underwriting to prevent them from doing these things, but he pretty much gave up on us as we neared the end of the process. The dates were were given were outright lies. This was by far the worst home buying experience I have ever had and I would never recommend New American Funding to anybody.

Not recommended. Lack communicating skills. Slow progress.

It was memorable as not great. Lots of misleading information was given... Plus, there was a lot of unnecessary back and forth due to lack luster communication abilities.

When we plied for our first mortgage a few years ago it was an amazing experience with another bank. I surely can not say that about this bank or experience. Also Carrie and Molly were Terrible. I will never recommend them to anyone.

If she would have been truthful about where the money was going and how we were getting the rate she gave us. Terrible to come to a closing and find out $8k is being lost.
