We were told different than the way it happened. Nothing seemed to go as planned. Told to expect the check, scheduled the work they wanted done, now I have to figure out what to tell these guys I have doing the work. Pretty disappointed about that. It makes me look bad. I was relaying what I was told!

Bien himself in the beginning did great was informative and interactive, had a great upbeat attitude. I was very excited to work with bien. Towards the end of the house buying experience, the communication almost completely stopped and we were in a very delicate and stressful situation as the closing date was pushed and pushed from what was discussed for 2 months prior. Bien, Sam, and Ben seemed unenthusiastic, inexperienced, and generally annoyed with us and could never provide and straight answers when they were the ones who didn’t follow through. Bien’s tone of voice was not good when talking to my wife. They avoided and ignored phone calls when we asked multiple times for better communication. It was overwhelming and stressful.

Better communication. There were two significant instances where clear communication was lacking and made a big impact on the decisions we made throughout this process. 1.) Our estimated monthly insurance cost was quoted as half what actual estimates were coming in as. If we were informed that the estimates provided were based on the loan amount vs the value of the house then that would have been helpful in our planning. 2.) We specifically asked how much the max amount a seller's concession could be for closing and loan cost. We were quoted an extremely high amount. Then the day before closing we were informed we had too much concessions and funds had to be used to buy down our rate. If we were told from the beginning concessions cannot exceed closing costs we would have negotiated our contract differently. I understand we were given "textbook" answers but it would have been helpful to provide more clarification and customer service.

I was treated like a criminal for being a small business owner. I have excellent credit and it was TOTALLY dismissed simply because I own a small business. I feel like y'all did a 'bait and switch' by offering me 7% rate then changing it to 9%....all because I own a SUCCESSFUL small business I pay myself W-2 wages and have consistently increased my salary since 2015. It's all verifiable, but y'all acted like I was some sort of sleezy character because I'm a business owner. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. Small business owners are the backbone of this country and I was treated like absolute shit. I have never had a more unpleasant loan experience in my life. I am being treated WORSE than someone with insufficient income or poor credit. It's despicable.

Terry did a great job communicating with us. He was very helpful and patient with us as most of our business was conducted by email. Thanks again Terry!

Should work on communicating things to the clients. For instance, it was more than 20days and the mortage company did not bother getting my home appraisal done. I was charged extra money to accelerate the appraisal process. But yes, it was my pleasure working with Aruna and Amy, they are very responsive.

Quicker to a response I think was the main problem. We had to email multiple times and call multiple times before getting a response. This was frustrating as we felt we were left without knowing the steps involved and not knowing if we had to do anything.

Better communication would have made it the transaction a much more better experience
