Joesph never called me back. I got approved for twice as much a year prior with rocket mortgage. I wouldn’t recommend.

If you like waiting and having to prompt people to do their job, this is the company for you. So many hiccups in the process of getting our loan. Took over 3 months from start to finish. I'm not sure how they keep business

We were told a 21 day close was definitely possible. We ended up having to push closing day twice. Sellers almost backed out of the deal on the second missed deadline, our realtor came $500 out of pocket just to get a final extension. Loan processor did not communicate at all until a few days before the original closing date, and evidently had not worked on our file at all before then. She was still asking for documents and explanations one day before closing, which could've and should've been handled within one week of being under contract. Very stressful not knowing what was holding us from getting the clear to close, at one point being told we may be denied, meanwhile our loan officer became unresponsive. To top it all off, our final closing disclosure came in the day before close with closing costs being MUCH higher than what they were in disclosures from just a couple of days earlier. NAF caused an extreme amount of stress, and in the end, gave me an upcharge for it. Will definitely be sharing my experience with others.

NAF doesn’t keep the promises they make. I would expect the process to take longer than you would expect with this company.

Not enough communication with info! Didn't know where we were closing, didn't know how much money we were suppose to bring to closing, Didn't have info on where to send money transfer to

There was a lack of communication between the lender and realtor. Typically I am included in all updates etc but I felt very out of the loop. When speaking with Sunee there were some miscommunications as well (the difference between EMD and DD etc). I think this lender just does things quite differently than other lenders that I typically recommend to clients. Nothing against these individuals, I have just had better experiences with different companies. Thanks

I've worked with the senior Carriker and he was ALWAYS amazing. I believe his sons were involved in our last loan process because I remember him informing us his sons were taking things over. We expected the same awesome experience we've always had. It was the opposite of what we have come to expect from the Carrikers. We provided sensitive information multiple times to Alex and his team and they continued to request it again and again. At one point I had to share pdfs of my paystubs and employment offer letter with Alex at my office which I share with other geologists. Alex said he needed that information (which my husband had already given him) asap. This was very embarrassing for me. The constant pressure to produce documentation that we had already giv n was frustrating. Also the blame being placed on "underwriters" was annoying. I'm paying Alex to handle this loan, handle your underwriters as well. I will add Alex was perfectly polite and understanding of my feelings. I do appreciate his honesty and understanding while I was so incredibly frustrated. He understood and was apologetic. I appreciate that.
