Unfortunately this was a horrible experience. There were 3 scheduled closing days and all.of them failed due to the lack of preparation from NAF Home. I was.left out to dry multiple times wondering if I was ever going to have a home when I was told on recorded lines that everything was good and literally within the hour we got a response but to feel like there was no hope because the lack of communication and to sit back and think that my family was at risk, I was already moving forward cause I was being told the house was mine and no the mention I was told the wrong down payment by almost two thousand dollar difference. My escrow was at risk, I almost lost out of the house because of the contract being expired cause of lack of preparation. This was horrible and there is still unfinished buisness. I was suppose to have my escrow back and taxes taken off my payment? Why hasn't anybody contacted me to get this resolved? This is what I mean about horrible communication, I never wish this on any FIRT TIME HOME BUYERS TRUSTING NAF HOMES

I am very glad that we were able to close and buy the house but cannot justify the reason to personally recommend Cardinal Financial to anyone. Allison has the best attitude for a person dealing with customers on a daily basis. However, the process was very stressful and sometimes felt unreliable due to many factors including changes affecting the closing/down payments figures, months after process had started. All communication was done via email in the middle of the night. It took a month longer to close than estimated and because of that we missed opportunities to get things done to the hose on a cheaper rate and are now looking for a new contractor. Had to wait for critical car repairs. Had to cancel our son's high-school graduation party that family flew into town for. And had to to a lot of leg work to track information down for NAF. while they got thousands in fees. I can't wait to refinance and go with Veterans United next year.
